Spark plug options

I'd imagine they'd be good, just don't expect a 100K service life.  More than copper, less than platinum or iridium.  These might last longer.

Some addn'l info

Looks promising but I didn't see any applications for the Taurus or F-150.

My second post is the plug they recommend for SHO. I called them to verify. At least for the 2013.

NGK LTR7IX-11 and NGK LTR6IX-11 have been used in the EB. There is no official part on the NGK site. I assume the first is colder as it's heat range is 7 and the second is 6. Anyone using these?

It was a bit ago. I can try to find it.  Something like if you got a good set they where good.  But there was insulation or some other sort of semi common failure.  The ngk plugs I'm using are the ngk 6510. Ones unleashed recommended. One heat range colder.  Used by alot of people from boosted mustang's to Mazda speed cars.  Gaped at .30

I have several friends using brisk with awesome results but they are using the Multi Spark, LSG and Turbo versions for their high boost applications.

I tried using the silvers in my Subaru and while it ran well with them once I started pushing the tune they were not keeping up. Went back to NGK.

What about these? They are the racing version I guess LSG. Are the F150 plugs interchangeable with the SHO?

He apparently likes them a lot. I also noticed the same thing when I pulled a plug last night to inspect it. The gap was now at .32. When I gapped them about 4K KM ago and the were new @ .30.

Forget it, they are for non boosted applications lol. I think Im going to give the NGKs a try.

Reading fail, thanks!

No worries lol, turns out I did pick up a set of the NGKs seems good. 1 step cooler, maybe placebo but she feels a tad bid stronger.

So I have been driving on these new plugs for about a day now.  The 6510 suggested by Panther and I have to say I like them. I also noticed the little KR events I was seeing are all but gone. The car does seem to pull a bit stronger, which would make sense with with the reduced KR events. 1 degree of KR is 2hp.

So in the car for a for a few days and I have been noticing more KR than with the stock plugs. Interesting but when I checked the OE plug with a gauge they are actually gapped at .32 not .30. I did gap the new plugs at .30. I am going to pull the plugs and re gap them to .32 and see what happens.

When I say more it's like 1.5 to 2 usually at WOT. Which is more annoying than a real danger at this point.
