Sweet Mother, that car is FAST!

Thank you! Product of a lot of test and tuning between Brad and myself. You hear the wheel spin I am getting off the line... not sure what to do with that.. if I launch lower than 2000 RPMs bog out and the wheel spin is actually worse I believe. I am certain the AWD system is working as I am not smoking the the tires.. they just spin a bit. Maybe thats normal, but I would think it would just hook an go? On the street I get a bit of wheel spin too.. so maybe the track is just not prepped? but there is enough Vht on my tires that I am slinging crap everywhere on the way back from the track..

If you listen to the video where I am running alone, you hear the wheel spin off the line.. and then a second set of chirping as the boost spikes.. I currently have Brad using the throttle control to keep the boost spikes down.. could be a combination of 17.2psi boost spike with 20 degrees of timing at 3800 rpms causing me to break loose again.. I dunno

I am really trying to get my 60ft into the 1.7 which I have not yet.. I suspect I can with the LMS tune at this point but it just doesn't have the top end or low end that Brad's able to squeeze out of this pig.

I think its your tires, but will not be able to confirm until we run the
2013 PI (stock) same rubber as you, versus the 2011 with Pirelli's...

Great Numbers, BTW

Sounds like SBS and I had a similar night, but I was also fighting high IATs on a 66 degree ambient, lol.

My IATs in the staging lanes were sitting at 145ish... but them the meth kicks in once I get going which drops them to 100 by the end of the 1/8th..

Did you post slips?

Can't remember because you were sleepin!  :-p

Great job man, your posts are making me want to buy meth kit again...

Honestly though, breaking loose in an awd on shift, I would be proud of that man!!  May hurt a touch in ET, but I have a feeling backing it off to stop that might be worse?  Long as she is not going up in smoke completely and shifting sideways you are riding that edge of max traction and possibly putting down all the power the chassis is capable of?  I thought Comp2's were a pretty stick tire for a pure street tire, so if they are not holding....?

I think someone needs to get a set of PI steelies, put some DR's on and give it a go!......

Yea... that's pretty much what my buddies say who go with me.. PIs with a better drag tire would be beneficial...

But then I see BPD and other guys in the 11's don't need that... so I dunno...

My goal is 11's... I know it doable..

These runs are just getting the launch to feel right... no weight reduction or anything special besides adjusting tire pressure...spare in the trunk 1/2 tank gas..

That 7.924 was with the rears at 23 and fronts at 20...

Oh I know... that's why I said it was a bit aggressive. It was more for a good laugh.

FWIW, I believe his runs were with light weight wheels that are wider than stock and wider than stock stickier tires.
