The most I've ever squeezed in my tank after running it as empty as I can (without going to 0 miles to empty) is 18gallons. It's actually a 18.6 gallon tank.
If I go off that calculator to accomplish 93 octane on a 18Gallon tank by mixing e85 I would put 15.43 of 91 non ethanol and 2.57 of e85 for a total ethanol of 12.1% or E12. Sound right to you? If this is correct I will try it sometime in the morning
Have you thought about running methanol injection? You won't have to worry about your fuel octane as much as the meth injected is a 116 octane.

Just don't buy anything from Devils own injection.
Maybe some day, some of these guys mixing e85 are having impressive gains so I'm probably leaning more towards this approach. Right now I'm just trying to run my 93 tune, so to bring it up to 93 mixing with e85 is a heck of a lot cheaper than mixing with race gas, so just making sure to keep the ethanol level down was key. I just paid $4.30 for 91 octane ($67) then $3.39 for e85. Comparatively the race gas is about $8. So I'm already spending less, the only place for me to get race gas is  20miles away, then another 20 from there to the track, then 20 back to my house. I don't wanna put 60 miles on my vehicle just to track it, none the less 40 miles just to get gas and come home lol, would be counter productive.
Anyway back on topic, so I mixed today and installed the 93v3 dp tune (Livernois), will report back after I drive a little more. Could be completely placebo but my wife already says it sounds deeper, and I feel like the power is smoother compared to the 91 tune on 10% ethanol gas. I'm going to track it in October. Now just to convince the wife to let me get the sct unleashed tune since Livernois said they won't work with me on e85

Airbornemaikai ....

Well , you are thinking outside of the box by blending E85 WITH an LMS tune.
I forgot the tune files are different for the SHO and XSport ..

Do you have access to an android phone or tablet so that you can run the Torque App ?
You'll need an OBD II bluooth adapter as well.

You really need to monitor KR , AFR and FRP , especially when blending even with a Torrie tune should you go that route .

p.s.  what spark plugs are you using and what are they gapped at ?

I do have access to a android phone, but I do not have a OBD II adapter. I saw one on amazon for about $15 I may pick up, unless you have a recommendation? I was actually going to check Auto Zone but unfortunately didn't get the chance to get around to it today.
Im using the motorcraft spark plugs gapped at .030

Expensive but worth it .

Thanks for that. After looking at those, if I was going to spend that kinda money on one I'm going to wait for the wifi one for more compatibility, plus I'm probably going to go back to a windows phone soon. Think I'm gonna order a cheap one to use until they release that wifi version

Ok so I bought a OBDII wifi reader. I need to figure out how to mount my iPad so I can at least glance at the screen and see whats going on while driving without blocking my nav screen. I think in general having something like this running while at car meets, just adds that "cool" feature anyway since I don't have any dials

Airbornemaikai  ..... if you are planning on running Torque you will need an Android tablet or Phone , they don't have an app for Apple products.

On the other hand, to prove that the Apple platform is not completely ignored, there is reportedly a very accurate Apple-only virtual dyno software called Dynolicious :)

Well my wife has the android, so I'd have to borrow it from her anyway, I figure I would just buy torque for that. I have dashcommand for my current iPhone/iPad

Just going to use this thread since we've discussed a little bit about the app here already. I am curious to know how accurate Dashcommand is at the 1/4 drag feature? I still cant seem to get this app to log properly, sometimes It will log everything I want it to, then other times Ill view it and it only logged a couple things. (will get a new obdII reader eventually). I'm just hoping to get a general idea of what to expect when i do actually get to the track

There happens to be a shiny thread about Dash Command in the datalog section. I feel like all of these programs have issues.

If only we could combine the best aspects of all of them...

I would pay a pretty penny to have an accurate, fast, easily customizable gauge program.
