Theft mode

I was getting in my car and I must have pressed something on my smart key and my horn went off and hazards flashed but my car still started. When I turned my car off then tried to start it again it went into theft mode and automatically turned on the alarm! This actually happened to me before and it took a act of Congress to get it started again. Has this happened to anyone? Tks.

Interesting.  I had believed that theft mode on the '13 plus SHO disabled the fuel pump and it wouldn't start at all.

I've never had this occurrence.  If you don't find the answer here maybe just call the dealer.

Exactly what BigMac said call up the Dealer and inquire to reference TSB ASI-32251 some models the intelligent access or push button start may have an intermittent IKT causing your issues.
