Transmission cooler installed!

Couple hours not bad at all. Would like to avoid taking front bumper off If possible. Haven't read the how to thoroughly yet.

Yep what everyone else said...a couple of hours assuming you have all the right tools handy. (which isn't much)  I really think you are going to want to remove that front bumper.  I just don't know how you will get the clamps off the risers tubes where they connect to the top of the existing cooler (the piece in front of the radiator).  Mine were on super tight even after I removed the clamps...taking off the front is easy although I have done it a couple of times so I can see why you'd want to avoid it.

As an update I took a couple of long drives (2 hours) in 90 degree heat and on the highway at 75-80 mph the tranny temp seems to stabilize around 190-195.  I admit I was expecting it to be a little lower but if I get on it - it still stays below 200 so the cooling capacity of the system is still greatly improved.  I also haven't swapped fluid out yet and I know it needs it.  Still super happy though because everything I've read says if you can stay below 200 the service life of the fluid is barely degraded...

Thx for the details. Front clip gives me nightmares of when I put the grille in. More to do with the grille than clip.

Long needle nose pliers will be your friend. Spark plug boot pliers too will get the hoses off behind the grill. Also a trans line disconnect tool will as be useful. In case your think a fuel line disconnect tool will work, it won't so you know.
