Only known issue is, the 2013's are not as aggressive as previous years with same mods. But according Dan @ LMS he has this issue all figured out. And the advent of the XV1 tune, that is currently in testing.
It is just hard to pass up on getting a 2013 when prices are hovering around $30,000-$32,000 for a low mileage, one owner, PP SHO. I don't need to be the king of the track, but want to make sure that I am not missing out by going this route because my car will be tracked.

In 2013 Ford encrypted the tuning software so tuners had to almost start over breaking the codes. The Explorer coding is different from SHO & Flex, and SCT hasn't finished the de-coding so Torrie and others using SCT tuners can tune it. Ask SCT or Torrie when they project this ability to tune Sport.
