I'd say not worth it...thought I saw oem new  for less than 500 on ford parts.com

I doubt a ford rebuild kit even exists....ford wouldn't even let a mechanic try....that job would be strictly R & R

I read on this forum That His garret gt1548 turbo on the sho (Honeywell) , there are SEVERAL turbo kit for this brand , Often kit for a GT15 to GT25 , qui shoulds make our turbo.

I'm told Garrett does not offer parts for these at this time. You have to get entire units through ford. Not sure how different they are to other gt15 center sections.
