Just got my tune loaded last night, it drives fine, picked up some speed and harder shifts. Does everyone with a unleashed tune datalog? Can the car be nit picked a little more or is it good enough first try?

Always good to datalog and have the tuner look at it the first few times.  Also to give you a comfort level with the tune & the car.  Torrie will let you know if he sees something off that needs to be adjusted.  One thing to keep an eye out for is the shifting.  If it is hard enough to cause hop, you will need to have shift pressure dialed back, to under 200 psi I believe.

It does hop on the 1-2 shift.. I did datalog, how do I get it off the sct device? Plug it back into the computer?

I had 11 tune revisions on the 2013....

Lots of noticeable refinements along the way.

I don't think i got any track time after the last 3 which is too bad, I think she would've had a new PB.

I believe you have to connect the device back to the computer and download it via LiveLink.

Yup, connect the X4 to your laptop, open Livelink and import the data log then export it.

I'm pretty sure I didn't even datalog when I had the issue, the shift pressure just needed dialed back a bit.

It seems like it shifts early also, torrie said that is by design......?? I don't like it, seems like it's leaving power on the table

I think it was mentioned elsewhere that you should have the shift point raised to 6200 rpm if it's sitting at 5800 or 6000.

Look at some dyno curves, the eb doesn't breathe well at high rpm. You can either hold the gear as power drops off or grab the next and be back in your peak.

Dial back the boost and up the shift point, magical combo it is!

Rich

Why does this make a magical combo?

Because its netted me a 12.42 with just a 3bar tune and CAI...LOL

Stock CAI with K&N drop in and just a 3bar tune scored me a 12.44 also.

That's with under 14 psi and 6200 shift point.
