Weapon R intake?????????

I have seen on the web a weapon R CAI for 2010 and up SHO's. only pics I have seen are of the intake only not installed in a car. Anyone have this intake? Anyone  have pics of one installed in their SHO? Anyone hear good/bad things about it?????

I've never heard anything good about Weapon R intakes.
Have you done downpipes, meth injection, turbo upgrades? I would look at those before an intake IMHO. Save up and do some downpipes for some real power.

No real reason to come at him like that, he's just asking.
I would suggest other mods even before the Airaid or K&N. A filter upgrade will do you better with these cars.

I agree with 4dr..I've posted that before but caught a little grief. If anything, get a drop in K&N and save up for downpipes or methanol

My Airaid is coming off and is being replaced by the stock box With a K&N drop in panel in the next couple of days.

Drop in filter is better than Airaid, sorry.

I feel that the Airaid does not do a good enough job of keeping warm compartment air from mixing with fresh air in slow or stop and go. I think the stock box is much better sealed.  After driving with the stock box for a while and monitoring my IAT, I will know for sure if there is a difference and how much.  If I'm wrong I can put the Airaid back on.  Just need to know for sure!

I have back to back passes at the track stock vs airaid and I lost .2 and 2mph switching back and forth repeatedly in one track outing. Definitely lost .2 and 2mph (around 20HP)

Only negative I've discovered is that you can't expect K&N to stand behind their product...I found out the hard way they refused to replace my defective filter when I had the seal go bad on one....since them I really hesitate to buy anything from K&N....
