I was listening to the sound when i rev the car, between maybe 1200 and 1800ish RPM?  https://goo.gl/photos/LVw5XjDQqFjn5tda9  may be hard to hear on the recording :(  But curious if that could be some specific thing thats common on these.  '14 SHO PP.  ~45,000mi  ALmost sounds like something rattling, or a knock or ping maybe.

It sounds like a Boost leak!!. How is she running other wise ? .Z
Check to see if any of the waste-gate hoses are loose or split.

thanks, I'll give it a peak tomorrow when I get up and report back
To answer your other question seems to be running well.  I'd love to get an induction service to clean the back of the valves, all ive done so far in 45k is tires, engine oil changes, and i have a k&n panel filter(recently cleaned as well).

Can i datalog knock with an sct x4?

I gave those lines some tugs and tried to pinch them to see how the material was, seems secure and pretty sturdy. Not used to vacuum lines being that thick

Check all the clamps from the Turbo piping to Intercooler to make sure there nice and tight/secure especially the rear turbo, pics below highlighted in red.  Z
Is there any signs of oil by rear turbo?
How does she run?
Check to see if there are any Codes set!

It can be done from the Top but based from your oil life monitor would personally start changing your motor oil more frequently at roughly 5k intervals would be ideal IMO and curious if the sound goes away after changing your motor oil.

I'm just hoping your using a high quality full synthetic oil and would personally recommend using Amsoil or Redline along with a Motorcraft FL-500S oil filter especially 9-10k intervals.
BTW also Check your oil Dipstick to make sure its full!!

What type of motor oil and filter are you using? sorry for all the questions simply just trying to help ya out.  Z  :)

I have about 6-7k mi on the odometer since last oil change.  I only use the motorcraft FL-500S filter, and prior to last oil change I was getting free changes at the dealer using motorcraft oil, and last change I used Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil. I plan on using that oil again this time when I change it.

I just filled the tank with some shell 93, about 14.x gallons. I went to the gym this AM, on the way home got gas, and when I parked in my carport, I revved the engine in the same manner and I didn't hear that sound anymore.... Maybe my gas was a little questionable in the tank before?

So that circled red area looks pretty oiled up to me. Right on the coupler, seems secure though? As best i can tell inlet side pipe looks dry on the outside

Leaning over drivers side, the back head has this little cap thing next to it soaked in oil as well, and maybe a hint of the cylinder head leaking oil?

I would say a Dealer visit is warranted just to be on the safe side of things especially if you indeed have warranty and best of luck. Z
I would also remove the OCC prior to the visit.
