Wheel Hop?

It’s an extra PINT!!! Or half quart!!!!!! Not a whole quart!!!
Um...Well then..... I’ve been a quart heavy for about 20k with no issues.

I swear I’ve seen an extra quart here somewhere.

And yes, Brads Tune brings the torque early! We had to dial it back a tad in the lower RPMs cause I was spinning all four tires out of the hole no matter how I launched it...

I cannot speak highly enough of Brad. Best tuner I have worked with out of the four I have.

I agree. I can't express enough how amazing his tune is. I think if I could figure out how to get the power to the ground, prob going to need some springs and better tires, I bet it would be running 12.40's.

I agree wholeheartedly, same issue. My PB on the 15 was on a low RPM launch, High IAT2, and pulling spark. High RPM resulted in a good show for the stands and for a brief moment my competitor thought he would win. LOL, not so much winning for him.

Tire pressure makes a big difference.  Lower pressure will usually hook better and reduce tendency to wheel hop.

By the way,  I would like hear opinions from transmission specialists or even other tuners on this business of over filling the transmission.

I am neither, however, the local speed shop Ptuning out in manassas baselines a lot of the LEO's cars which includes obviously the PI.. they told me that they generally recommend a pint of fluid over max on the PIs...

so that is two performance shops that recommend it.. dunno..

To the OP!  any vibrations felt in the suspension when driving?
I would try reverting back to stock Tune to see if your symptoms persist!
I highly doubt the warm FL weather will cause wheel hop IMO. Z

Switching to the base three bar tune I have from unleashed cause it to shift like butter. Zero issues. Flashed back to AJPE30 and lowered tire pressure to 32 from 37. The issue was gone. I don’t think it was the FL air, but rather the tires being inflated to 37 psi. Suspension up front is all new. No sounds at all. I emailed Brad, see what he thinks about it. Lowered tire pressure did resolve the issue.

Regarding overfilling the transmission:  I know some folks at Livernois suggested adding a pint over full.  Steal, thanks for sharing info that you have heard that from others as well.

It is just that we have been informed by the owners manuals, dipstick markings and other sources that overfilling is bad...that it can cause foaming, which leads to poor shift quality, poorer lubrication and other issues.  Hydraulic pumps do not like bubbles...and foam is full of bubbles.  I doubt if a pint over is harmful.  I have always been just a little gun shy on this.  Obviously, Glock hasn't had issues in 24,000 miles and he overfilled his by a full quart!

I think you stated your lower control arm bushings are starting to look worn IIRC!!!!
I wouldn't say everything is new my friend!!!
Sometimes depending on how much Torque to the wheels will ultimately cause a wheel hop IMO and certainly room for adjustment.  Z

Oh, true! Yea, I need sway bar end links and lower control arm bushings. I'll replace them soon. I won't be at the track for a few weeks. I'll take care of those before I go again.

New lower control arms and stabilizer end links have been ordered. I’ll change them over next weekend

UPDATE!

New lower control arms, bushings, ball joints (all were already on the new control arms) and stabilizer end links have all been installed. I haven't had a chance to get on it much, but the one time I did, all wheel hop was gone. Thank you Z and everyone that helped me diagnose this issue. Now, to go chase that 7.99 in the 1/8th!
