Which Bluetooth OBD 2 device

I was looking into using a Bluetooth OBD 2 reader with my iPad to get into forscan. I've read a lot about which cheap China junk to avoid but nothing on which is the best bet. Any help o which one to buy would be great. My X Sport came from Canada and I'm looking to try to turn off the DRL's with forscan so that I can install HID's.

I use the vgate/icar wifi adapters, but am sure there are better (and more expensive) units out there.  Probably be fine for your purposes though, datalogging is decent but not very speedy.

I think I'm gonna pick up a Kiwi3  from PLX Devices. Completely cross-platform. Reviews seem good. Compatible with Torque and 4 or five other apps for iOS or Android.

I did it the easy way and just called my service adviser.  We have a good relationship and I asked him to turn them off with IDS and he said he could do it, didn't even charge me for the tiny bit of time it took.  Now I can continue with my task.
