Which tune and how to order? 2010 SHO

Hello gents, I'm new to the tuning world so I wanted to get some clarity on which tune I should move forward with and how to specifically get the process going. No better place to ask then here! I am definitely going with LME so I was wondering how the order process goes. Do I need to order a blank tuner device from them then send the info from my vehicle when I have the tuner plugged in order to get custom files? Or do I click which stage I want on the site when ordering and its that simple?
Also, what is the appropriate stage to have. My mods thus far include downpipes, CAI, cat back exhaust. I want more power but don't want to blow out my turbos.

Thank you!

Once you order they will send you the hand held unit, then you will need to use it to get your strategy code for the car and send it to them so they can build your tunes.  You can tell them which tunes you want as far as different versions (4X is the newest one) such as which octane gas you use (91 or 93) and they will build the tunes and e-mail them to you to load on your device.  Then the fun begins when you upload your tune of choice.

I would also recommend getting the 3bar Map sensor and Tstat as well up grading your plugs to the SP534 with the proper gap.  LME will want you to do that if you go with the 4X tune.  That will be your biggest bang for the buck.

For sure, I just wanted to make sure I order correctly thank you! I got the plugs gapped, im ordering their thermostat and 3bar map also. No issues with the 4x tune?

I'd also highly recommend the tstat, 3bar map, and plugs also.

You can have 4 tunes on the Mycalibrator tuner. Will be based off the octane of the fuel you can get. Usually in 91 & 93 tune sets.

I can get 93 all the time so I have

Stock
91 octane
2 93 octane tunes

These are custom to your specific mods.

Good luck...

Rich

The best way to get the ball rolling will be to just call them or email them at info@livernoismotorsports.com or tuning@livernoismotorsports.com and speak with Anthony, and he will SHO you the right way to go,also maybe Livernois will chime in,and x2 what Rich said.

Thanks Rich. Im also privileged enough to have 93. What tune do you run daily?

The "Ass kicker" 4x...lol. It ends up displayed on tune as 4x + (mods abbreviated). 14k tuned miles and running great. Plugs looked good after 12k, oil looks nice after changes with no fuel smell and zero oil lost since we purchased(holy cow, 27k ago...almost 10 months).

Good morning Dash, I'm Jaimie.

We send you your tuner blank as we do no canned tunes. You extract a few bits of info for us from the ECU, email that info to us. And then 24-48 hours later we will have your custom tune files built. We do not allow you to select staging, because we will NOT issue you tuning files that are too powerful or aggressive for the components (or lack thereof) on your car.

If you have more questions just reach out to me directly!

Thanks,

Even the world record holding SHO runs his tune on his DAILY DRIVER!

Just wanted to reaffirm my tune and mods for the OP's observance.

I run the LMS 4X 3bar as well, mother of god its great stuff.  Talk about bang for your buck.  I would also fully support the SP534's gapped to 30 and at least a 170 degree tstat, and you're good to go!

I'm also lucky enough to have PPE downpipes with 3rd cat delete to open the exhaust, and yes there is a difference.  Best part, I have achieved my best MPG of all time with this setup, 26 highway.  Of course with a lead foot that can go down, but still, how cool is that?

Pull the trigger now, happy tuning.

The reason why we shy away from 170° is because we experienced the fans tun on too often and stay on too long. 160° will actually aid in efficiency and repeatability!

I run the 4X all day every day, only going to stock when she goes to the dealership.  Been tuned since the second week I had my SHO.
