wondering y are engine's arent given us numbers like other twin 6's

I think the limiting factor will be the tranny.  larger injectors and fuel pump will come, But a few of the tranny companies have already stated that there is not much potential because of the PTO.

My friend who does my work just got a '11 CTS-V like Mike's except 4dr. I love my SHO & everybody's on the sight but when he hits the supercharger I hold on for dear life. Smoke the tires multiple gears,  it's crazy fast. Cost him about what a new SHO would cost. GM has one advantage Ford doesn't, if it's got the room just drop a Corvette engine & you got a runner. a friend up the street has a new XTS non turboed from the back you'd swear it's a Lincoln.

I just added a lower pulley and exhaust, should add another 50HP.
My last pass in the V was 11.5@124.9 hitting rev limiter in 2nd and 3rd - solid 10 second pass according to other's passes, that was at 600HP, I should be at 670+ HP within 48 hours. Looking for mid 10's@130.
Luckily mods were on the car already except for the lower pulley, injectors, used Billy Boat exhaust and BAP I installed.
I should be happy there but I also have my nitrous system just laying around....
:D

I've given other V owners rides with 500HP V's and they thought it was crazy fast in comparison. My friends describe it as a jet airplane acceleration. It puts you in your seat hard like taking off in a jet, I've pulled to 140 and it never stops accelerating like that.

I don't know about any of those things reallyand I still love my Ecoboost powered vehicles but the V is just nutty fast.

That's one thing we haven't looked at: underdrive/lightweight pulleys.  Is this a feasible power adder for the Ecoboost platform?

Corporate welfare?

Ford had a 8.8 Billion dollar profit last year. Ford is doing something very, very right. GM may sell the most cars, but Ford makes the more money per car. So GM may have "corporate welfare" going for it, but Ford has something going for it as well.

Taxpayer funded is my point, Ford leads the rest follow.  Momma Ford has been doing her homework
