that seems a little steep.  be sure to get at least a 2 yr warranty at that price!

My Maaco plastidipped my front MKS grill (just the inserts which takes more time to tape than doing the whole thing) for 50 bucks.  But that was apart of a packaged deal and came with a one year warranty.  of course the paint started to peel and they're redoing it this week.

its a coin toss, my Maaco has a manager thats really into enhancing cars and has a young clientelle base, but tends to not always get things right the first time.  a more 'official' Maaco will most likely get the job done right the first time but will charge more...

Thanks for the insight...My guess(having no idea) was around $150...1st stop was Maaco and the nice gentleman there convinced me of a great job at $165...was close enough to my prediction to jump on it and sace the driving around

Yeah that price is bit steep, seeings how maaco probably uses the cheapest paint around. I'd find a small local shop to spray it, with good paint like PPG or Dupont. Or at least inquire to what paints they use.

Thanks crash...new to this upgrading thing and the info you provided will stick with me for future paint projects....
