You need the tuner in order to pull the strategy code,or you can try to get your meid number through the sync software.

Once you contact LMS, they will send you an email with all the instructions. It's pretty straightforward.

except I always call....
The following assumes buying a used MyCal.  I did and am thrilled.... ---> Buy the tuner... Plug it into your car's OBD2 port and get the strategy code.... Then call LMS (Anthony) and give him your VIN, strategy code, any mods done, and the serial number of the MyCal.  Pay them (about $250)... This will get you 5 tunes, the reset program for the MyCal, and lifetime tune updates.  Anthony will give you a URL... Download the reset app and run with MyCal plugged into your computer'so USB (3 min) .. The download the tune files and install on the MyCal (follow the prompts to do this).... Then tune your car following the prompts (5 min).... Get a permanent smile!!!! Easy peezy for sure.
