XV1

FWIW.....

I was on the phone with LMS today, pertaining to my own (anticipated) new dyno tune, and was told that XV1 has still NOT been released.

I asked for it back in May... I drove 20 hours to have the car dyno tuned and Dan couldn't tweak it as much as wanted to. It has now been 6 months and I am still running the same basic tune as in May...
But I now am in peace with it.  XV1 is a major step and it looks like the 2013 are encrypted pretty hard.
Also, they still have their business to run and have many other type of cars to tune and work on...
I don't know however how the Explorer got to be aorked on first, but in my case, I will only be able to try the XV1 next April, after 5 months of cold weather not allowing to race...
So, I'll work ln aesthetic mods during winter and will try again next year for 11's.

The Xv1 for the XSports has been delayed after saying they were ready. Better safe that sorry. I know some other tuners were having issues with their performance tune and cold weather. My 93 performance high boost tune has been spot on so far so a little more wait time to perfect the Xv1 is OK with me.

That's what I thought.  I had already decided on spring by the time they get to the 10-12 SHOs.  Since they do have my dyno, I requested a tweak just to get me into the 12's but it's gonna be a stretch with SEMA and the season end being very close.  I might have to settle for 13.006 until spring.

I understand that the XV1 tune is either on indefinite hold or scrapped... for sure it is not available.  Check with Brandon a LMS for details.
