Easy to find... see the other help.... It's held in place by a single torx screw.

If you install the 3BAR before the tune you'll get 2 DTCs, a CEL and a wrench light.... the tune loader will clear them... but takes a while...or at least seems like it when you want to go drive... LOL!.  (what happened to me... no other glitches) The 3BAR does not have to be installed to load the tune, which I verified with LMS.... It's possible that loading the tune first would avoid this... not sure

I just sent LMS an email requesting V8. Do you need to also install the low temp thermostat along with the 3 bar for the tune or can you just install the 3bar? I have been away for a few months and looking to squeeze out as much as I can. Last time I checked on the LMS tunes for my 2013 I needed both 3bar and Thermostat to get the next level tune. Thanks.

so i put my 3 bar in today and i feel like my new maps isn't as strong as my previous map. any thoughts?
I haven't had this impression when I went from v8 to the 3BAR v8.  I think the best thing is some objective testing, dyno or strip... It is much smoother functionally for me, but that's only and impression. Most of my gain seemed to be at higher speeds.  I know Dave's SHO was faster (8.01 1/8th and 12.57 quarter as memory serves.  Of course, he did also have downpipes)... Seems unlikely that LMS or any company would offer a "detune".
