Is there a way to tell if its time to recharge your ac?
I feel when the car was new it was  much cooler.
So curious how often should you recharge and what the AC pressure should be at 65-75 degrees or is there any other sensors that can tell you.

It seems strange to me that a 2016 MY vehicle would already need to have the air conditioning recharged. Perhaps there is some issue with your AC compressor?
 
A properly operating A/C system is closed loop and should never require recharging unless there is a leak.

You could hook up a pressure manifold to check pressure, but if you find it low, the source of the leak would need to be found/repaired or a recharge would only be temporary.

If you put a thermostat in your center vents and turn your system on max, the air should be 20-30 degrees F below ambient.

In the service manual, there are different charts for the high side and low side pressure ranges at various temperatures. Someone who has a SHO manual should be able to post them up. I’m guessing my Explorer may be different, since I have a much larger system capacity.

EDIT: Is your AC compressor coming on? If system pressure is too low, there is a failsafe that will prevent the compressor from engaging. I’m not sure what the threshold is, though. My 2013 had a line leak and leaked everything out. I had to remove the AC relay and jumper the connection to turn on the compressor for charging.

FORSCAN can be used to check the status/commands in the system, but I’m not aware of a pressure reading in the system. I just used an external gauge set.

Yes it definitely runs ac big difference from when off  but not sure if it's 20-30 degrees difference I will check that.

That's hard to say because its a (sliding scale) relative to temp and humidity, on average the evaporator runs close to 32 , out the center vent,but can be up to 45 ! It really depends on the day AFAIK!

Check the cabin filter for any moisture and dirt buildup.
I would try Cleaning the Interior Temp sensor with a can of compressed air!
Its located next to the push button start!

I think my XSport instructions were to roll down front windows and open rear doors and set A/C to low temp on max fan with external air intake (Max AC sets to recirculate). They then gave a temperature delta vs ambient to check for function. I *thought* it was -20-30 deg F vs ambient, but maybe the sedans are different.

No service manual @ the moment,just off the Top of my head info!
