So I got a code for an engine light and more specifically oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor one. Anyone else have this code in the past?

Any changes to/any work on your engine lately?  I'd start by reading this:
http://www.obd-codes.com/p0130

The possible reasons stated are:
Usually the cause of P0130 is a bad oxygen sensor, however this isn't always the case. If your o2 sensors haven't been replaced and they are old, it's a good bet that the sensor is the problem. But, It could be caused by any of the following:
• Water or corrosion in the connector
•Loose terminals in the connector
•Wiring burnt on exhaust components
• Open or short in the wiring due to rubbing on engine components
• Holes in exhaust allowing unmetered oxygen into exhaust system
• Unmetered vacuum leak at the engine
• Bad o2 sensor
• Bad PCM

If it is just the sensor, what brand is OEM

MOTORCRAFT Part # DY1064    {#7T4Z9F472A} Heated
Upstream Front; 7T4F-9F472-AA; Excludes California & Green State Requirements
MOTORCRAFT Part # DY1111    {#8F9Z9F472A} Heated
Upstream; 8F9A-9Y460-AB; California - Green State Requirements
MOTORCRAFT Part # DY1056    {#5F9Z9G444AB} Heated
Downstream (Only 2 Remaining)

I had that sensor go when my car just passed 36k miles. I would've been a $300 job if my car was out of warranty at the dealer.

Had one thought... Have you looked in the IC to see if there is oil/liquid accumulation?  If a slug of this was sucked up but not enough to lock the engine it could easily show up as a random string of misfires.... Just another thought.

Where is the location of bank 1 sensor 1? By the oil filter?
It is on the passenger side down pipe above the plastic shield that closes the engine compartment.

Sweet, I got it. Thanks brotha

I just got this check engine code earlier today.  I'm seeing two different types of motorcraft o2 sensors for the 2010 mks.  One is labeled lower and the other is labeled upper.  Any idea which to get?

https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=951636&cc=1444584&jnid=425&jpid=13

And to get to this sensor, just remove that plastic splash shield under the car and it's right on the downpipe by the passenger side tire?  Nothing to remove to get access to the sensor?

Upstream/upper is sensor 1, downstream/lower is sensor 2.  Bank 1 is firewall side, Bank 2 is radiator side.  Would seem that bellypan removal is all that is required for access, but IDK for sure.

And ramps, lift, or pit...

So I cleared the codes just to see what would happen and everything was good for about 2 weeks and at least 500+ miles.  Turned the car on today and got p0130 and p0150.  Bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1.  No symptoms whatsoever and getting good and consistent MPG.

I see there's a TSB for the 4.6L/5.4L Ford F150's that seems very similar to the issue that I'm having.

I didn't see a TSB for a 2010 MKS, but the issue looks very similar.  Hard to believe two o2 sensors would just go at around the same time like this.

Any ideas?
