Clicking noise when moving steering wheel back and forth

Very cool of them, PM, wish more were like that!  BTW, has anybody seen this washer and know if it is flat or cuved?  Any possibility of it being installed incorrectlY?

Don't know, I do know that the washers are for an unrelated TSB with different issues. The sound is similar though.

The tick/clicking noise is gone!  Glad to have my SHO back.

Here are the notes on the paperwork to help those who need this fixed as well:

Great news! Love a happy ending!!!

Thanks for the info... Looks like they replaced everything but the actual half shafts

Good luck and hopefully they resolved the issue, and in general if you love your car and plan on keeping it,like I do,stay away from these car washes with those power hoses spraying acid on your rims and wheel well area, could potentiate future issues with front or rear end.

I just talked to my buddy who is service manager; he's going to order me hubs--the clicking and clunking up front is pissing me off.

I get this weird clunk every nowand again like the shafts get slammed when I give it throttle--not sure if it's just because at that minute the tranny laxed because it didn't know what I was doing.

Clicking of all is really annoying; hear it moving in parking garage and turning my wheels.

I just purchased the 2011 SHO from CarMax, and when I picked it up, there was a slight clunk/click sound coming from the front right wheel area.  I had them tow the car back to their dealership, and ended up finding out that they needed to replace some worn "Axel Shims". What ever they replaced fixed my issue.  My car has 50K miles though.  This is just my $.02 for what it's worth. No more noise up front. Hope this helps

To SHO-TYM glad they resolved your issue, the click sound is pertaining to the 2013 PP SHO only, due to a faulty wheel hubs, and now of course all the other recalls for the 13-14,fords,best way to find out is through ford.com,log in or type your vin and click recalls and will show you the history, sweet ride by the way, good luck.

The hub replacement fixed the clicking sound on my '13 PP SHO. Glad I was pointed to this thread and informed my dealer about it.

I have inspected this same noise in my front end and there is a great deal of slack in the driver's side tie rod ball joint (enough to see it moving). Do you think my hubs are also an issue?

Stopped by today at my local dealer for the drive shaft recall and also for the infamous tick sound that ive been aware of for awhile now but haven't had time to follow up on it,due to father being ill, spoke to shop forman which I have agood relationship with is going to replace the thrust washers and the hub assembly, both sides and also provided me with a 2014 Taurus loaner for free, another issue was I informed him I forgot to put the car back to stock and the tune is active,he said in very rare case will a tune or anything else void the warranty, basically ford wants you as a customer and wants you to keep being a ford customer, will keep you posted on the repair.
