The other day started the car and noticed the screen by the console was out for about 1 min,then it came back on ,any other members experience that,got me a little worried for a while.
It happened to me a couple months ago and hasn't happened since. I didn't notice at first, then realized the radio wasn't playing, just before the radio and display came back it said "sync", like I had just tuned it.
If it happens again, or other glitches crop up that updating software does not fix, the APIM may need to be replaced. Seen it as a solution for the Edge a few times.
It may be maintenance mode; SYNC will do a maintenance dump with car on or off; mostly it tries to do it when it's off so you're not without the system.
