Lots of 1.70's.

But keep in mind, I have never once ran my 617awhp file.

The 525awhp file has been put to the test though, I can tell you that.

I certainly know its not an easy Task to achieve but will give it a shot very soon since having the H&R's installed.
If things go sour might need SiR SHOdded to take over the Helm. Z  :drive:

Is there a track you are thinking about hitting up Z?

Brian(bamsho)^^^was kind enough to to extend a personal invite that 4 SHO's are headed down to Cecil County sometime in Oct!!!!! which makes the offer that more enticing.
But sometimes planning things accordingly is the hardest part of the game with much Prep needed, thanks.  Z
Btw lost 6 pounds over the summer which might help a bit.  :)

Damn glass transmissions ...

Actually... considering you are close to doubling the engines power output with his 500 something to the wheels tune that he has hammered successfully without any drivetrain failures I would say the 6F55 is pretty stout.

And I suspect that LMS does quite a bit of tweaking for the transmission in their tunes.

And as they have mentioned repeatedly, a bit of extra trans fluid over the FULL line helps prevent cavitation and foaming especially in high speed maneuvers.

LMS recommends a half a quart (16oz)of extra Mercon LV over the full line.  They mentioned this is standard procedure for service vehicles.

In any event... our platform rocks when it comes to dollar/per tenth in the ET.

;)  might have been a bit of sarcasm :D

Yeah it is true,  I am not sure why the rated it so low but I assume there are reasons.  The upgraded sister GM transmission the 6t80 only handles something like 40 more TQ ..

Primarily for insurance reasons, to remain classified as a family car instead of a sports sedan.

All State classifies my SHO as a sport sedan.

Hmm.  Originally it was meant to NOT be classified that way.  Insurance companies may have upped their game since then.  How much do you pay, if I may ask?

$400 every 6 months... $500 collision and $100 comprehensive. “Gold” package from all state...

It’s a lot considering I don’t drive it much... and they are not gonna cover anything that happens at the track...

Good drivers discount, multipolicy discount, etc...

Not bad at all for a SHO.  About what we pay for the 2010 Fusion Sport, with soon to be 100K on it.

I guess after a long consideration it can be done!!!!!!

1)Find roughly 10 guys/gals needed for a private track rental.

2)Find yourself a good reputable Track and rent it for the day or half the day which gives you plenty of sufficient time for prep, which in better terms means no lines =less heat soak.

3)Throw a couple of Beers to the maintenance crew to make sure its fully well prepped before take off,but usually are @ private rentals.  :beer2:

4)Mother nature on your side you should be Golden. Z

Rent the track for the day? Holy cow that's expensive... don't think I'm gonna be doing that

I called MIR about this... I believe it was $800 to rent a lane on an off day with basic prep.
