AFAIK, still requires a Windows OS to access full capabilities.

You are correct. They have an Android and iOS  version but both don't have as much capabilities as the Windows version.

I'll try to make a video tomorrow showing how slow so you can get an idea maybe someone with the wifi version can make one?

If all you need is a VIN, I'd search the sale listings: dealers, private listings, even ford.com.

I'd give you mine, but I have a PP (no ACC).  You're still going to need the ACC components (radar, etc.).

Question for you FORScan gurus.

Can you get into BCM parameters and see any TPMS info?

Also, what bluetooth adapter are you guys using? If I pull the trigger, I want to make sure I get something compatible.

Thanks!!

You can see tpms info what exactly are you looking for tomorrow morning I'll take a look at it.

By far the best odb device is the obdlink MX I like Bluetooth version because it's easy to connect and still have internet on my phone but the wifi  has quicker data refresh.

Awesome! Ordered the MX, thanks!

I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. LOL
Do you have the ability to see your sensor IDs and/or add/change/remove the IDs that are present?

I'm thinking step 1 is to read/clear any stored BCM codes to see if that allows me to train new sensors, but if I had to, I was wondering if I could manually add the codes I read from the TPMS service tool into the BCM.

Codes or PIDs, Mike?  You cannot add PIDs into any module.  You can add PIDs to Torque Pro to read the existing PIDs in the vehicle's modules.  You cannot add PIDs to Forscan, period.  forscan.org forums are a good resource to browse through/ask questions in as well.

Thanks, Manu.

I don't think I need to add any PIDs. I was curious if it was possible to manually add the 8 digit alphanumeric TPMS ID to an existing cell on the BCM. Like if there was old sensor data stored, could I replace it with new sensor data?

And/or if there was a stored DTC on the BCM, would I be able to clear them with FORScan?

I'll try over on the Forscan forum you mentioned as well. Can never have too many hooks in the water! :)

Thanks for the feedback!

I see, you want to populate the data values into the PIDs and force recognition that way.  Great idea, IDK if it is possible though, hope it is.  Then we would find out whether the system periodically scans these values and resets to the most current discovery or simply leaves them alone :)

Correct! That was my thought. Force it in and see if it's accepted. Sheesh, when it's put that way, I feel ashamed. LOL

I just posted on the FORScan forum as well. Here's the link for anyone who wants to follow along. I'll be sure to post a resolution here as well, if/when I get this figured out.
