Frustration; lawyer time

I ended up selling the RX8 track car I had; long story--change of plans--blah blah.

I enlisted a dealership to do the consignment and they sold the car fairly quickly and for what I wanted for it; now it's going on month 2 and I've not seen payment after receiving the bill of sale.

Now it looks like I may have to go to court over it; seeing a lawyer today to discuss options. I really hate this crap; I got more important things to do than have to waste my time--why can't businesses just operate with principals.

I think you can sue for Interest. That is bs they prob just want the interest for themselves

I'm hoping that can be done; lawyer fees, court fees, my time, loss of opportunities while waiting on a large amount of money to be returned.

Spit-balling here but I'll see what Lawyer says.

Thanks mate.

I contracted with them to handle it because I am just entirely too busy with work to deal with buyers and such--didn't think this would happen. First time I've ever done a consignment deal and it only cost me $1000 with advertising and fee's.

I'm betting the lawyer will help you out.  I guess the next time you do a deal, you will do a little research before doing the consignment.  Anyway, good luck with this, and it's true, when you really need help, there's nothing like a good attorney...luckily, I know severa; who are very sharp, and nice guys!
