Poppin' and rockin'!  Looks cool, hopefully next week all will be in place :thumb:

Yes sir! I was talking to crash on facebook, I'm going to fix my boost gauge tomorrow--he told/show me what to do.

I got center pod ordered; and next week I'm going to get the 2 EGT and Trans Temp gauges.

So I'll get those before end of month. DP's going in. AFR hooked up.

Then I got date with hydro dip--going to carbon engine cover and radiator/IC cover.

Another shot using the 50mm Nikon lens I got.

Haha; I already talked to him.

I'm not vendor so I can't discuss it.

OK; huge thanks to crash for helping me out today on the phone.

It turns out the 2013 has a much different brake booster line than the 2010-2012 (possibly, we know for fact on crash SHO it's much different.)

So if anyone saw his photos in the thread about where to tap into for boost and vacuum; it's the same except you will need 1/4" hose clamps.

20 minute job ended up 2 hours; thank god I was smart enough to do this in the back lot at Home Depot--had to make several trips to get different fittings. Autometer has this wear adapter thing so instead of using a 1/8" barb, I needed a 1/4" barb to secure my boost line.

This is from my Note 3.

I'm editing photos from this morning coffee and cars meet; will post them in photo section.

I will say that I do love the lens; only issue is it's hard to get shots. You have to stand quite a ways back so at meet that's a challenge.

However, I will say that I now realize those old Tamron lenses I had were just crap. This Nikon lens is WAY better; looking forward to getting a 20mm-250mm Vario VR II in few months.

Geswek  that pic is seriously sharp gotta be the lens .

I did the same thing on my 13 as vacuum source for the Tial BOV on my HotPipe Kit .
I wonder if it'll be OK to T into that Brake Booster  line further upstream closer to the booster itself for a secondary source  . I know you told me a few days ago your doing the Hotpipes as well but hadn't decided if your gonna do OEM or Tial BOV .

I still haven't installed my center pod from Crash yet for the boost Guage , coolant and tranny temps either .

Pondering on the secondary source though .
By the way I used 3/8 inner diameter braided fuel line to Tial and the barbs at all three points are 3/8 O.D.

Its kinda buried in the install info for the HotPipe kit.

I too am interested in the gauge pod.  If he is not interested in making them, can he tell us what gauge pod he is using?  I just want to do a single boost gauge.

Yep; you did what I did; same thing with 3/8 barbs; I just had to use hose clamps to hold them where as Crash was able to just slide his rubber hoses onto it.

We have different hoses from the older SHO it appears; guess they upgraded our hoses. :)

I will probably go with TIAL due to the desire to put bigger turbos in. I don't see why we can T into brake booster again. The only thing Crash told me was that if for some reason I got vacuum leak my brakes would go soft; but I think that's period--if we had vacuum leak anywhere it would affect all systems.

As far as I know he is still making them , most members have the 3 guage one and some have it made for 2 they are custom made to order .

Send him a PM to crash712us and ask him  :    http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=160

OK; so yesterday I spent 2 hours at Home Depot with crash on the phone fixing my boost gauge as said previously.

On the way home from grocery store I played around a bit. The boost is spot on now; 13lbs consistent with some 15lb peaks unlike the 20lb peaks I was seeing due to being tied into the wrong tube.

Overall not bad; can't wait for DP's Friday and track Saturday--that will let me know how well it really runs!

2013 Ford Taurus SHO - LMS V8 Tune Boost Fun

Just got more goodies in! Waiting on last gauge and then car goes in next week while I'm in Michigan.

Sent from my mobile, I think.

Yes, I am so damn excited.

Game plan;

I go to Michigan next week for work; leaving my car with shop to put the gauges in and fix my AFR probe. Hopefully I will also have the wheels powdercoated matte black; tried finding gunmetal and it didn't work--so I'm going to just go for matte black.

Then when I get back, it'll be a week or two and I'll get tranny and PTU flushed; then install my 3-bar, t-stat, plugs and tune. I'm pretty excited! I'm planning to stop in and see LMS while I'm in Livonia and pickup plugs while there and meet guys.

Lastly; run at Cecil and new dyno pull.
