I always hear it's easy to get these things to 500wtq. True??
Well that depends. You could but I believe your rods and/or pistons won't like you and may exit the block. I believe something around 450 whp is the max for reliable power levels on stock internals. Upgrades are available though.

He was talking about torque to the wheels. 500wtq is not that hard to achieve with this platform

With upgraded turbos tune and meth your pretty close to 500 at the wheels.

now I wonder if they were only using water meth mix and not pure meth.  This goes with that guys statement that the car didn't make more power.  Your at the limit of stock fuel system with good tune and Upgrade turbos..

Have you checked your sensor to find out if it's a 3 bar?

Seriously, the big item on this list of unknowns is the turbos. You need to know exactly what was done to them. I would be shocked if it didn't have a 3 bar in it. The fact it didn't make good power with meth makes me wonder what was done to the turbos. And without the meth higher flowing turbos are pretty much useless from what I understand. The stock fuel system alone cannot support anything higher that the stock turbos maxed out.

Hence why my head hurts, I can imagine yours does too lol.

One of the reasons the SHO is so responsive when you step on the gas is because of the twin small turbos.  Increasing turbo size generally leads to more turbo lag.  So you upgrade to a better/lighter compressor wheel instead that spins up quicker than the stock cw.  Bore size can also be increased a tiny bit within the structural limits of the OEM housing.  Upgrading the wastegate will also assist in the power quest.  Same power, less boost required to get there.  Two levels of upgrade currently available, I believe.

An "inside" look on the stock-sized cw upgraded turbos:

One way or another tuner should be hear soon so I'll get it retuned without meth!
Why not run meth? It's a hell of a drug....
O I know lolol I used it before.  He said it didn't make a difference lol and he said there was a small leak in the tank. So I'm need to find the leak first then get it retuned and I probably will run the meth. Sct came today so I'm look an see what kind of tune is on this thing.
