Little update. Cars hovering right at the same temps with stock tstat. But this is in temps that are 30* cooler than it was with 160 tstat. Talked with LME and they said that the jiggle valve does not require a certain position to work properly, and only on some vehicles does the gasket have a small notch in it that needs to be lined up properly. They highly suggested the kit for burping the cooling system (funnel that screws onto rad).
Thinking the gasket and housing is fine, looked over it alot. LME linked me a video on the how to with the funnel (burp) set up. Was the type of stuff I was seeing in my searches. Guy in video also jacked his car up. Think there's a small pocket of air in there still, and will find the funnel set up. $23 shipped from eBay was mentioned.
Good luck...be prepared to stuff tstat back in if coolant fills you container to quick. I was thinking of cutting side of 20 oz bottle starting at the bottom (but leaving bottom intact) coming up side a few inches and then putting a hose on end of the top part of 20 oz to container on the ground.liteyouup said:
