Crash.  Any idea what size hose that is?

If memory serves me correctly its 5/16's. I believe on 2013's and up the hose is different and do not know. But on my 11 it's printed right on the hose.

Sorry to revive the dead but I am installing my boost gauge currently and wondering about this location.

From the back of where you have it T'd off, the hose goes to the firewall, and then across to the driverside of the car. Is there any reason it needs to be T'd in this specific location rather than later on in the line (possibly closer to the driver side foot well where my wiring, etc. is going to be?)

Thanks!

No absolute not. You can T into any where along the hoses length.

Thanks crash! Now I just need to find the grommet everyone keeps saying is on the driver side near the pedals. Once thats done, and I find my +12V constant, and switched 12V it'll be time for some pics of that fancy gauge pod!

I mine unaware of any such grommet, unless people are referring to the large grommet that steering column goes thru. But I drilled a hole next it when I installed mine. But all the factory access when the harness runs thru is under the cowl under the windshield.

Thanks, I am hoping not to drill into anything, just in case.

Here is the rubber boot under the windshield cowl

Thank you, is it difficult removing the cowl? As for the boot, I know people re-seal with silicone, any specific type recommendation?
