Meth system routine maintenance

How often are you guys cleaning your various filters? I saw some nasty nozzle filters online and I was curious.  If you do get cruddy filters, what are you running, ww fluid, 50/50, 100%?

Are you guys using pre filters between the tank and pump? Where is this crud coming from, material breaking down inside the pump or line fittings?

Running VP M1 here 100% meth.  Filter from Alky is between the pump and nozzle and haven't had any issues.  BPD has been running meth for years niw.  He hasn't  had any issue.  Im sure running a mix or WW fluid the filter would get nasty.

I've even heard of things like some brand SS braided lines use a steel collar on the end and it degrades vs using brass.
