Might be new to the Ecoboost crowd, help needed!

Must've had a 2006 m/y then? Or very early 2007 build. Don't recall when the revision was made. There was TSB for the clutch as well. I agree...took some getting use to. Except your really couldn't ever get use to it. Lol! I'm missing mine lately. It was a fun car.

Yes!!!  That's exactly how it felt.  And it was a 2006.  Besides the clutch it was a great car.  Managed to keep it bone stock.  Bit I also had a 700hp twin turbo C6 at the time so...

EPIC FAIL!

The dealer I drove to today (an hour each way) who had 3 2014 Titaniums in stock (silver/grey/white) had them all in FWD!  I'm a friggin bonehead.  I knew the prices were too low to be right.

Now my local dealer has a 2013 Titanium AWD, 30k miles, but it's in Bordeaux Reserve, which is the ONE and only color I don't like on the car!!!!

Got him down to $20k, and I'd buy it today if it was any color but that.  What should I do???

If its going to be used as a DD you will probably get used to it,the good part is the dealer is close by so essentially any kind of routine service needed thats a plus, tell the salesman to knock off 500.00 cause you hate the color, maybe then you will start to like it,good luck and and always feel free to ask whatever thats on your mind.Z.

Be patient, if there's ever a time, this is it. Definitely don't want to make a large purchase on something like a vehicle that's a color you don't want. I could see buying one missing a feature or 2, but color, that's a hard one to swallow.

I apologize just woke up,tell him 19k and then attempt to shake his hand!!

The car was $21,800... I got him down $1800 for the color!!!

Idk... AWD Titaniums are scarce here (weird because it should be the opposite).  It's equipped the exact way I want, everything except driver assist pkg., and it's priced right.    If I can just overcome the color issue.

I think the BR is the least attractive color on the car.  But lowered, tinted, with the Lighting Firm HIDs and some bronze wheels... It could agree with me.

I'm gonna look again online today and see if there is anything else in the state.  I do need to move somewhat fast tho.

Sounds as if the color isn't to bad. I'm not familiar with the BR color, but it seems you have found a way to work with it. With that said.....go get that thing!

x2 on that, after installing your tune, mods you will be focused more on the performance of your vehicle than anything else, best of luck to you and keep us updated.

I actually sell Fords let me know if you need me to run a carfax for you I'll be back at work tomorrow. The fusions are a great dd they're not exactly fast but I think the 2.0 EB has some potential sounds like you're getting some good deals just make sure you check the carfax the cheapest deal doesn't necessarily mean the best deal.

That is great to know VTX,being in the Ford buisiness anyone ever approach you in regards to tuning or mods after or before purchasing a vehicle, would be nice to get an inside perspective on that matter, cause fortunetly my dealer is pretty cool with mods, maybe some personal insight will help others or shed some light in how to approach this delicate matter and could benefit others,thanks.Z.

Well luckily I haven't had any misfortunes with my car yet but some of the techs know I'm tuned and I told them if it ever needs to go to service to look the other way lol. Yea I already got a few of my buddies to go see Erick from LET. Most of my co-workers are Mustang guys and are modded too.

Thanks for the input guys.    Found another one; 2013 in white (which i like) with no nav but it only has 16k on it and is a CPO vs the ugly "eggplant" which has nav but double the miles and is non-CPO.  The white one is listed at $24.5k but I'm willing to pay $21.5 vs the $20k for half the miles and the color I want.  I'll be calling tomorrow.

I realize the car isn't fast, just want an AWD daily driver that's comfortable and can get out of its own way.  As I mentioned, I'm coming out of a Civic hybrid, and I'm not really into cars anymore.  If I wanna go fast, I hop on my stage 2 V-Rod.

Well I just called the dealer with the White car and they said they own it for $25k!!!!

So that's out.... Looks like the ugly eggplant is a phenomenal deal...

Hope everything works out smooth for you, keep us updated and hopefully some pics of the new ride.
