Mulling over rim choices

Trying out some different rims on my car trying to narrow down to one or two.

Had to use a 2014 SHO for one or two of these rims cause they didn't have my 2011 version on file

The bottm TSW looks nice (last pic) and is likely the most cost effective choice.... with the more open designs remember that the rotors and calipers will be bright and not dark/black as in the configurator pics. The other wheels are fine, but personally with the bright rotors they should be polished bright and on a white car.

Sorry, I just can't get used to the all black wheel look.  Have you considered machined rims, hyper silver or chrome?  I think chrome looks really good on black.

They do look nice Dave... but the rotors and calipers are black in these pics too... so the ride would look different.

Please do not suggest silver or hyper silver or any variation of silver rims for my car....I am clearly headed down a certain path with what my ride will look like and it does not include silver rims

You should contact Darkside if your going to do the spear and the bright-work around the windows.  He painted the spear in-place and ended up just buying the window "chrome" new, painting then putting on the car to replace OEM.  The window trim is attached with 3M double sided tape and very thin.  he related that it took no time at all to bend it when trying to remove it.  Just an FYI if you're looking for something like this.

I see one of your choices is the Giovanna Killis .

This is what is on MY SHO

New lower Billet grill installed as well , with VLEDS Triton V3 front Led turn signal upgrade and Hella DRL's on Lower Grill

I will be de chroming the car too along with going with black rims ....I hate chrome with a passion

Are you going murdered-out black?

kinda .... more like murdered out lite haha

I really like some of the wheel options you brought up.  I figured I'd show you some you may not have seen yet, so you have more options.  I would consider a deep dark graphite only because all the "murdered" wheel packages I sold for people over the years, it just seemed slightly overkill to keep going black on black on black.  But take the wheels to a deep anthricite, or coal, or some other close proximity to black, and man it looked amazing.  Here's some ideas based on that, plus some different brands to think about.

This is the Velgen 20x9, could be a front and rear, no suitable staggered fit is available for our cars.
http://howeyindustries.com/velgen-vmb5-209-51143.html  Comes in a 20x9 +35 which is a great aggressive fit,

Velgen also makes a nice 8 spoke,

This is a stack of Niche wheels and pricing, goes with some you've picked out plus the multi-piece offerings, plus some color options you might like

Remember also Niche is good at doing the black with dark tint clearcoats, which look amazing but not quite pure black.

Are you open to forged one piece, or is the budget below that threshold?

Oh yeah, don't forget the Foose offerings

All pretty great, with a machined/black unique look to them, and pretty light.

Some nice choices there for sure and I am open to anthracite and gun metal finish for sure. Budget is an issue mostly because this is not my primary toy to mod.

Lanson...I really like the second wheel you pictured even the second time!... especially since they are completely finished and gloss black to the inner rim.. really nice finishing touch compared to OEM flowers.

Wonder if the SHO center cap will fit or if I'd have to get Billet badges or someone to make me one?

I agree. Most cars, dark colors and especially black just pop with a splash of chrome. I will be installing these in couple weeks. Mulling over tire choices. Trying to find a good all season performance tire that will be quiet and hold its on in all road conditions.

They "should" fit.  You could maybe also get a vinyl sticker made instead, to match.

Those ought to look sweet!
