Wife just got rear ended...no injuries either car

The culprit after he jumped on the hood a few times so he could see over it. I guess the other side 1/4 is way worse than the side in pic.

Seriouly wow.. Was the mustang trying to mate with the SHO???

Why is everyone getting rear ended.. it like a plague with these cars.

Glad everyone in your family is ok.

It's that big wall o' rear end calling out to others, I think!

Dang, Rich, sorry to see this, glad everyone is OK.  Other driver insured?

Thanks guys.

She was coming up to a light that just turned red to make a right turn. This light netted her an incomplete stop ticket in the truck last year. Guess she hadn't even come to a complete stop yet when she was rammed by this kid.

Sad, but I'm glad that no body was hurt. Keep us posted on repair procedure and if all goes well.

Thx, and will do.

Took it for a ride. Good humm from the pass rear I think. Inside cabin noise is loud now, I can hear air coming in the rear passenger door, and I think front passenger also. Trunk lid is pushed in, exaust tip, trunk pan dented. Looks like rear passenger door is sitting in from the body too.

That air leak worries me.

Dang that sucks man!
Things were going so good I thought too.

Really hope nothing is twisted in there and they don't want to recognize it.

Here's two pics combined. This is rear doors where they meet the back 1/4.

Notice the difference in gaps on the lower chrome.

Hopefully you get her fixed up by a reputable bodyshop of your choosing, its hard to tell but whats up with the gas tank, any signifcant damage,or signs of imploding or codes set, thats honestly what really troubles me,dont want to worry you or anything in that matter, hopefully you get her back looking and performing better than ever, anything you need please let me know and best of luck.Z.

Oh man. Tough pics to look at.

**sigh**

I'll echo the sentiments of others before me....

Glad no one was hurt, & get 'er fixed quickly. :ok:

The SHO sure can take a hit and look much better than the other car.  another reason I love my ride.  hope it GETS fixed right and quick.

Thanks for the kind words.

Looking at insurance policy, it says any repair shop of our choosing.

Full story is that she had to make the famous Michigan turn-around to make a left. She pulls into turn-around with Mustang following. Only a 100 yards after the intersection, so that's the distance back to light to make the right turn now. She gives it a little pedal while leaving and gets over the 3 lanes into RIGHT HAND TURN ONLY lane stopping at a full red. Before she even came to full stop he drilled her.

Glad nobody was hurt. Maybe insurance will buy you a catback now since the tip is damaged.
I like those kinda thoughts... ;)

Rich

Thats exactly what I did! Worked out sweet!
Just looked at your incident. Looks like the high ride height of the SHO in the back helps us out alot.

Glad to see no injuries occurred also.

Was the only damage to your exaust the tip, and what was the stock exaust cost if you remember?

Rich

It will be cool if you know somebody that can guide you to a reputable body shop not only fixing the damage but also having your coilovers, tierods installed, etc in one shot, these body shops always give a higher estimate, thats why they rather deal with insurance co than having you pay out of your pocket, just a thought.
