ProMeth Says Hello - Manufacture of Ecoboost Water Methanol Injection Systems

I'm leaning, heavily, toward this setup. I'm curious, since the nozzles are sold separately, and are available in so many sizes, how many changes are necessary before a system is typically dialed in?

I'm most interested in your controller options.

Can it control multiple lines? One for the direct port setup, and one line for the 7th nozzle (not connected to the distro block of the direct port)

You guys don't happen to design intercoolers do you?

We really need an efficient FMIC.

No, we do not design intercoolers. Just water methanol injection systems and components. There are plenty of aftermarket intercoolers being made for the Ecoboost engines.

DIRECT PORT so this looks to be injecting meth in all cyls at the sometime?
What is the advantage of this?
In short. Direct port allows you the precisely control how much water methanol is delivered into each cylinder. Modern day EFI intake manifolds were not designed for wet flow. Many times people are having serious water methanol distribution issues when nozzles are placed before the throttle body or in throttle body spacers. Everyday I have at least one person call describing distribution issues and asking for us to do a custom direct port install on their manifold to fix this.

Let me know if you have any other questions or how I can help. Rodney

Don't worry about the jetting. Thats my job and I will set it up correct just as you need it. At the time of your order we will have you help us fill out our vehicle spec sheet. Jetting will be based off this information as well as the type of fluid you are going to run and your location. Guys in dry areas and low water grains need more jetting than those in humid areas such as florida. Additionally, I will include two additional nozzles that will be a half size larger for free when you order one of our direct port kits with nozzles. If you find you need a little more in one or two cylinders you will already have the nozzles available.

Not for the transverse 3.5....

If you happen to know of someone, please let us know!

We are working on a two stage controller so you can open a solenoid at a separate point.

I wouldn't know of anyone. If its not available you can always build an intercooler. Many of the race cars I work with build the intercooler as they need it.

In short. Direct port allows you the precisely control how much water methanol is delivered into each cylinder.

These injectors don't seem to be controlled individually. So i'm asking why this is beneficial? It would seem one is using 5x the necessary meth. Soo do you have plans to use Electronic Fuel injection?

It ensures even distribution into all cylinders. This way the front cylinders won't receive more than the cylinders at the rear of the intake manifold. Uneven flow may or may not be an issue. We have no idea unless someone tests a transverse 3.5 intake manifold.

Different size injectors help regulate an even spray. You actually use less meth, the injectors are much smaller

nice tank .not sure where it would fit at
hopefully someone has location pictures or install tips to move that along.

I'm guessing with the mdesign intake setup there would be enough room next to it to mount this tank. You would just need to fab a bracket.

Think the battery is almost 9" tall? Can't mount that tank sideways, the cap has to be on top. Our height requirement is the same as the battery

Had a nice phone conversation with Rodney, the owner of ProMeth (formerly Alcohol Injection Systems) today.  Super nice guy, very informative & helpful.  And thanks to Renee for helping with my order.  I ordered a 3 gallon tank for my upcoming meth installation.  Plan to do something similar to the trunk install on Alky's Facebook page.  With meth & AJP's EBC brakes, I'm getting excited for next track season!
