Questions about cutout for aftermarket DP / stock exhaust

Just wanted to let everyone know that BiGMaC stepped up and paid the entire amount to ship the cutout back to Mike...unexpected, unnecessary, yet very much appreciated.

Even though I won't be doing this, I appreciate what you guys are doing for the platform.  :clap2:
 
BigMac has volunteered his car to allow me to dyno the following items:
PPE catless, catted and catted/ thermal coated pipes (his actual pipes) Then we'll throw on the hot pipes with Tial BoV and then try the thermal coated hot pipes with factory BoV.

I get to do the same tests on my truck in a couple of weeks as well as those parts will be done soon as well.
I NEED to find an Xsport in Phoenix so bad!
Once that's all ready as soon as I can I'll get my hands on an EB mustang when they come out.

And for us all I'd like to say THANKS to 4DR for the opportunity, ...to Ecoboost Power Parts for the range of hardware,... and to all the time and work that Jeremy and the crew at Black Market Racing will invest! 

My desire is that we will get the information everyone needs to make rational decisions in their choices of "breathing tubes" for their Transverse 3.5 TT's.  Along the way I get to know exactly the value of these mods on my ride. BTW, 4DR will also be monitoring temp data in the hot pipes to evaluate the effectiveness of the thermal coating along with performance.

We'll find out if the individual numbers for each are reflective of the total at least for stock tuning. That is, are the individual mods' WHP increases additive?... or could there be less gain than the total of each one alone?... or (my hope) are they complimentary where the gain with all is greater than the sum of each individual gain, i.e. they augment each other.

When all the installing and the CAI development is done some similar testing can occur to prove the CAI's value... hopefully I can stand the wait!

Then comes my tune! (finally LOL)

So I'll echo 4DR in asking for someone with an Xport to step up so the same can be done for that platform, and I'll ask the membership to be on the lookout for an EB Mustang when they arrive.
 
Kewl :thumb:  Maybe the work can be done on the XSport at the same time when 4DR gets his "loaner".  Gonna be a busy time!!!
 
4DR, please apologize to PPE if there is drool on the cutout.

It's just something that happens spontaneously anytime I look at or handle it.
