Sorry - plenty recommend this... Even tuners.

It might shock you to know that there are very bad TOONERS among us.....well this tuner doesnt reccomend it

It would scare you if you knew what i knew....its a good thing i have integrity and discretion and am not in the business of exposing things otherwise this forum would get alot more busy

After you drill and drain I would tap it and plug it or put a valve on it so it is not a constant boost leak.  Then drain it every oil change if you want.

Although it may seem to run fine with the small hole you make you need to remember that even a small boost leak can lead to problems down the line.

So you know Ford techs advise customers to alter their hardware possibly voiding their warranty?

Post up the tuner names or BS

Makuloco recommend this.
This is not a boost leak - proven over and over not to be.
Not to be argumentative... But every hole in the charge system other than the wastegate is a boost leak.... Even if the turbos and system can compensate... Unless you tune for higher boost you might not notice it without datalogging.... I agree that preventing fluid ingestion of the condensed engine blowby is important, but I would not open a closed system myself.... Just saying...

It has proven to work very well. If you look, other manufacturers had included a weep hole like this prior to EPA standards.

I like the idea of a valve...fumoto drain valve would be nice to periodically drain the cac....but no open holes for me...maybe even go for a quick ride and boost it to blow the crap out...bu not a permanent open hole

Works well for EVERYONE else.

Right....i believe you...ignorance is bliss

As long as you cant feel anything its all good....glad you didnt tune my car or any car...the turbo will work ever so slightly harder to achieve the desired TIP...it wont understand why it has to but it will.

Good thing for all the drillers out there that fault thresholds arent exceeded because of the size of the hole.

Here is your ford tech....interesting it seems it needs a calibration update ....but that seems silly because you said a tune cant fix it....i was waiting for ford tecmakuloco to pull the drill out lol

He doesnt know exactly what got changed...im telling you its called allowable wheel torque error...for got over zealous in their misfire detection software ...its probably very good logic but i think the bugs needed worked out...its why people with coyote mustangs have to have a nuetral profile or crank relearn done when you get a new clutch....it all has to do with rate of acceleration that the crank position sensor sees

It has been proven over and over and over and over and over and over.... their fix doesn't fix it. Seriously, do your research.

Man you are a really dense stupid example of a human lol....i kinda like u

Drilling is not the right way....i could use 60 weight oil to quite down the engine and convince thousands to do it...but its not the right way...some people just dont care as long as they get what they are after...good for you lol

I have.

I've also talked to the Ford techs that work for a close family member about the issue.

It's not even the same IC, nor proven to be any sort of problem across any of the transverse 3.5's they've seen.

All you've done is come in here with know it all claims advising people to take actions that may very well void their warranty.

You make the false claim then tell people to research it and then when challenged refuse to back up your claims.

You lack the courage of your convictions to even mention the alleged tuners advising this.

You don't even post up any documentation of the 1 Ford tech you cited because frankly, it doesn't exist.

Put up or shut up.
