What is your "get on it per mile" ratio? I'd say I accelerate away from a light or down an on ramp hard at WOT up to 80 MPH or so about every 30 miles on average. In that same 30 miles I probably pass a couple of cars at WOT and accelerate out of a corner/driveway or two hard up to 40 MPH or so. I also get on the brakes pretty hard 2 times maybe. Haven't taken many corners too hard for damn near 7 months now due to having the POS Firestone All Seasons on it for this miserable long winter. Putting the Firehawks back on in 2-3 weeks.
It’s not just the SHO that needs attention... the baby ecoboost and the jeep need love sometimes....

I am cracking up at reading your wife stories.

Just ordered my 2018 company car... 2018 Ford Escape SE was the free option this year... took it.. comes with the baby 1.5L Ecoturd... base options.. but does come with the Ford Safe and Smart Package... Magnetic Metallic with Black Interior... not bad for a free car I get to use for personal and work...

I feel for you getting the 1.5EB in an Escape. Ugh!!! I couldn't imagine driving one witj that motor. Wife loves hers. Only way we would took it, is because it had the 2.0EB. Def scoots along nicely. Only way to get one now is in the Titanium packaged ones. Think because the new Ecosport and Edge are getting most of the 2.0s
