Wife's 2007 Durango just got rear ended by a 2006 Chrysler 300.  His car is a total loss, will post pic later.  Sonofabitch!  Was about to trade this thing in or a new Yukon/Tahoe.  Don't think it will be totaled, bummer.  At least the kiddos weren't in the car.  Police officer told her the car seats need to be replaced.
 
Anyone dealt with diminished value before?  How exactly does that work?

Did any air bags deploy?  Possible chance of it being totalled.  You have to use there insurance company to give You the money for reduced value

Diminished value laws vary state to state. You'll need to learn how the laws apply in your state of residence. Or just contact the insurer I guess.

It's at the body shop.  Trying to get a new Yukon/Tahoe as a rental.  The owner is our neighbor so they gave us a 2002 Tahoe to drive for now until the Chrysler 300's insurance company authorizes the rental car (1 or 2 days).

Wife was a stop light when he hit her, probably on the phone.  He tried to swerve to miss her but failed.  Got a ticket and he only has liability, bad day for him!  At least it's only a V6 300 lol.

I'm trying to stay true to Ford, but that new CTS V might be enough to pull me to the dark side. It's either keep the SHO and pickup a 13/14 Shelby or trade in the SHO and roll a CTS V for both work and play. Waiting to see what the pricing of the Caddy is going to be.
