They must be turning a major profit otherwise why would they do it? I know we save at least triple the $119 a year just on shipping.
Maybe they make a lot on the TV end of prime, we use the prime tv a lot but only for the included stuff. I think its around $6-7 to watch the un included movies and shows.
We live 30 mins away from any wal mart type store so most of our junk gets ordered through amazon or ebay. I found plugs for the sho on ebay for $5 each, the jap made motorcraft ngk copies even.
I used to order rotella t6 for my old truck from wal mart, free shipping when your buying $100 worth of oil. Lol

Well, with local distribution centers, AMZN has cut down on freight costs AND i now have to pay taxes. In all seriousness i dont think prime is a profit center IF you use it to the fullest extent. Question is what percentage of members do. With any group, theres a distribution, and I do not know that distribution here.

From a quality and refinement standpoint, the CMAX is the best Ford I've ever owned. (Titanium trim)
I experienced unfamiliarity from others with the SHO package, but literally NOBODY knows this car even exists.
Everyone is blown away when they sit inside, the fit and finish is SUPERB. The view out the windshield is quite incredible. Blind spots? What are those? The gauges are beautiful and for my size, everything is right where it needs to be. Switchgear feels solid. Console and dash trim is beautiful. They even put suede on the back of the seat belt receiver so the console doesn't get scratched. The black hole between the seat and door where all the dirt goes to die has been replaced by a tray that catches all the debris...I could go on and on.
WTF is wrong with you Ford?
Something has changed drastically since Mulally left. He was one of us. He could drive any car in the world and he drove a SHO. He made Ford great again. He made money selling cars.
I suspect "enlightened progressives" (AKA commie rat bastards) that are more concerned with "diversity" and other SJW signal virtueing may be to blame. I'm honestly wondering if one of America's greatest icons is being destroyed from inside on purpose.

As far as Amazon, I have been using walmart online, shipping is cheap, says 6 to10 days, i get in 2 everytime. So far cheaper then amazon or equal, even with tires!
