Random thoughts for the day

I believe that is the article that sold me on the PP. It was PP or die when I was SHOpping.

One of the most interesting aspects of that article is the specs provided for the PTU cooling - less 75 degrees, compared to the non cooled unit. Not bad!

I'd settle for a way to clean the backup camera.  Totally worthless after driving in the snow.  I see the '16 Explorer will have it, but why so long for someone to do this?

Can't remember who it was but I know some auto makers put a washer jet in front of the camera. It's odd how long it takes for tech to be adopted. Just like back up cameras used to be far and few. Now it's standard on almost everything.

Hyundai backup cameras are hideaway. When you select reverse, it flips out. And then select out of reverse and it hides again. Not sure how long that'll last though. It suck if that mechanism/motor failed. Lol

That's awsome! Now all we need are more aftermarket parts. Like a HPFP!!! This could be good.

Can't wait till torrie gets his hands on one.

This thing is going to destroy the vet/viper world.

Wonder what it would cost for the motor out of one..

"The GT is one of more than 12 new Ford Performance vehicles coming by 2020. It joins Focus RS, F-150 Raptor, Shelby GT350 and Shelby GT350R in the growing Ford Performance lineup."

If the RS is as nice as it sounds I think it will be my next car.

" The GT features an all-new, port/direct dual fuel-injection setup to improve engine response, plus a low-friction roller-finger-follower valvetrain. The twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 will be paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle for near-instantaneous gear changes and exceptional driver control."

Sounds like a Euro-challenger for sure.  A true DCT will hopefully filter on down to "lower"-end vehicles soon!
