Rolled around in first gear turning heads...
Be sure to get the upgraded stripping. The D style sounds best route.Wilson said:Ok, I can't take this thread anymore! Ordered an Airaid from EcoPowerParts.com
Been trying to hold out for the other solutions, but everyone here having great results is too much for me to take. Once I saw Crash got excited, I knew it was time to order LOL.
Hopefully Airaid has your commission check in the mail.

Wonder if it would be beneficial to do a ram air type deal in bottom grille that directs air up towards these pipes?

TimmyATL said:Ok everyone as I said I called Airaid on Thursday at lunch and yesterday the new seals came in the mail. I pulled the box today and am having my dad wrap it (he is retired and needs some projects lol. Thanks Pops if you are reading this) and I had him wrap his stock air box on his Ranger back in the day and it did wonders with IAT temp. I have asked this question before but still need some clarification. It seems that the shielding is used to reflect the heat away from the box so why is the inside being lined and not the outside. At a look it seems it will fit with the outside wrapped in the shielding. Just my two cents.Any advise and help is greatly appreciated
