Shell nitro + gas

This was right after I got the +7 and after about 25 miles after fill up
acdc7eeb1fe36ff8628ce2c7084404b0.jpg

And this is driving home about another 25 miles. LOR went up to -0.8
And by the time I got home it was back to-1.0

I was taking it easy on the gas so it only went to +3.8
Definitely losing power durning the KR event.

I was curious any subtle changes in mpg? FoMoCosho does your 15 SHO exhibit better gas mileage than the 13. Z

Really no way to tell, my job changed right when I got the new girl and my daily drive changed pretty dramatically.

Last tank at 25% was 16.5, all city, and I've been running the piss out of her.

Both of mine have been the same way with the LTFT's from stock to tuned, doesn't look like a large variance.

No two engines are the same and parts wear out at different rates so the trims are used to account for that.

Unfortunately its just been re-branded to unify the brand across the world. The pamphlets are the same as the old vpower ones.
That's all it is. They do this every so many years, just to freshen up their marketing image. But, that's not to say it hasn't been reformulated for the better. They don't openly divulged how exactly they formulate their additive. And I'm not chemist. So, I am not privy to any specifics.

If you recall, months ago I mentioned here that they'd initiated a new additive formulation, and began distributing it to retailers/end consumers.

They've only just now rolled out the marketing, because generally they allow a healthy amount of time to achieve enough throughput throughout distribution, in order to safely rebrand the product to their new marketing strategy, and roll out of of the marketing material.

This reformulated stuff has already been in your cars for weeks or months. They've only just now initiated the marketing for it.

Interesting stuff in here, we usually run 91 Shell in our explorer. Which is the new nitro + stuff. We moved over to Petro. 91. Honestly can't tell a difference. Both up here have no corn. MPG is about the same that I can tell. I would try it in my SHO however 91 is the highest grade available by Shell up here. Come to think of it I had the 93 V-power when I was in MI a few weeks back. I also noticed an increase in KR on the expressway on the way home. Not the +7 but it was higher. My SHO seems to like the Petro 94. 0 KR pretty much all the time. Even at cruising speeds lugging along.

This weeks fillup was a different station, I get gas from the same place 99% of the time. Out of four I checked, the one I used this week is the only one displaying it on the pump. It is a newly remodeled station however so they probably received the new materials first.

I just added 2 gallons of E85 to top off my fill up from yesterday. We'll see what happens with the KR. I have some highway driving to do tomorrow.

Good news. After 2 gallons of valero e85 KR is almost gone.
A quick wot blast got some lift knock but 0 KR even after trying on the highway with the ac on.
This is when I got home after idling for about 3mins.

+/- 5% is considered the max in the best of conditions, need be concerned only when they exceed 10%.  Per bank, stft + ltft should be under 20% max.
