Sold the SHO

So I sold the 2011 SHO Friday. It went to a young guy in northern IL. He said he loves it already and I directed him here and the ecoboost enthusiast FB page. I put it back to stock other than the tstat and explained tunes and all to him. He plans on doing a 3 bar tune and other upgrades real soon. Hopefully he stops by and introduces himself. He's had a bunch of forced induction cars so he should enjoy this one.

Friday I also went to see my friend at the dealership and he bought me a 2014 Gray PP SHO that's off lease so I should have it by Christmas. It's actually located in WA state which is why it will take a while to get it. 33k on it and it was a steal at the auction even with the shipping cost to get it here. Time to start getting this one back where the 2011 was at. Back to LMS 3 bar tune, needs tint, ditch the front plate and who knows what else I'll get into with it.

The good thing about being friends with the GM at the dealership is he gave me a 2016 X Sport to drive until the new SHO gets here. Now we have the wife's 2025 X Sport and the 2016 in the garage. Not a bad stable as the first snow of the season is hitting today.

At least we are keeping he garage full of ecoboosts during the transition. Lol

Sad and glad the news makes me ... Definitely happy it went to someone who can appreciate it, and that you are staying with the SHO line.  Def provide your impressions about the 16 XSport while you have it, and look forward to the "new guy" joining up!

Did you get extended warranty on the 2014?  Changing the PTU fluid is probably the most major challenge on the PP equipped cars.

When I sign for it I'll get the Ford ESP on it for sure. My dealership won't do ptu service so I'll have to figure it out on my own.

Glad to hear you've transitioned into a newer model SHO.

Post pics when she arrives, and very cool of you to refer the owner who purchased your 2011, to this site here.

Hopefully they'll take great care of her.

Enjoy the '14.

I'm expecting the new SHO to be slower since it isn't white.  Seems all the fast ones (except Rich) are white.

Once I get my time-slip after Christmas hopefully we can add my Tuxedo Black to that list ;)

Congrats Don!  Your white one was a beauty.  Looking forward to seeing this one in person too. If you are in the Lansing area, my dealer will do PTU fluid changes.
