TCE Wilwood Brake Kit Front and Rear

bpd, keep us posted if the front wheel clear the calipers.

also, it would be nice to know from the people that have this kit, just how much offset is needed and what type of wheels, to clear the brake caliper without mounting a wheel spacer.

I will do so.

Although my results are probably not applicable for most,  as not only am I running an aftermarket wheel, but I am also running a larger width wheel too.

Got two different shipments coming.

One tomorrow which includes the calipers & pads & a second delivery due to arrive this Thursday that includes the rotors.

Pictures forthcoming. Both pre & post install.

I'm still toying around with PC options as I'd like to retain some semblance of the black / white theme..... I may just have the rotor hats PC'd in white & leave the calipers as they were shipped in black PC.

66Gal i'll mention your question to Todd & hopefully he'll reply with an answer for you.

I had a chance to really take a good look yesterday at the brake kit on (BMC)X-SPORT,was truly impressed by the looks and quality, black calipers with the drilled/slotted rotors and gives it that WOW factor APPEAL to it,good luck on the install BPD and enjoy.Z

Yet to lay my eyes on a TCE kit, envious!

The 15s are simply an extension of the 14.25" set ups. There were not 15" rotors for this build until recently.

For bias..yes ideally a four wheel kit is the preferred method as always.

Was hoping for more detail on brake bias like if the front kit shifts bias 10% more (hypothetical % for example) to the front vs stock and the addition of the rear kit returns bias to stock balance or..
And, does it have any effects on the function of ABS, traction control or  chassis stability.

Thank you Todd in advance for your response.

Didn't pour over the data on that one for you sorry...

I can say however we have a few of the W4A calipers left to do this the way we have thus far. In the future the rears have gone away leaving me only smaller bore calipers to work with. Not ideal.

If anyone is on the fence better give me a shout soon.

Anyone looking for a good deal on a FOUR corner kit?

I mistakenly shipped red calipers to a customer who required black. A professional shop has mounted the calipers but we have caught it before it went into service..we'll be swapping red for black on Tuesday..

Right now they are scheduled to be returned to me in AZ. I can easily forward them to a buyer as part of a purchase.

All other items much ship from me or Wilwood: hats, rotors, brackets, hoses pads etc.

$100 discount to someone to do the deal and not bring them back here. *One time deal, red only, four corner only.

Still have parts to produce a number of these kits.

Inventory levels are dropping however and once they are gone I doubt we'll make a run of any more brackets...If you've been stirring over it don't wait too long.

A truly enviable opportunity!  If you can bankroll it folks, don't hesitate!
I'm close, but I don't like the spacer requirement. Ten mm really should get longer wheel studs, and that's kind of a pita.

Still mulling.
