TIAL BOV ISSUE

Hey guys, my BOV isn't working. Was fine until I blasted a Dodge Ram Diesel and my car was doing great until I heard a loud wheeze and a little bang. I though I popped a hot pipe, but upon inspection all the hot pipes are fine. I started up my car with the hood open and put the car into drive, stepped on the brake and loaded the engine with braking power (revving the engine to 4000 rpm) and releasing the throttle. The BOV should have made a sound but it didn't. Any ideas what could be the issue?

You know, i don't know. I didn't install it. I'm completely horrible as a mechanic. Actually, if you want a car to blow up or get destroyed, just let me fiddle around with it for a few moments. Would a picture of the engine bay help?

Please check for any codes set and IMHO would not drive the car.
PICS PLEASE,thanks and just trying to help ya out. :)  Z

Is the car still making power?  I was thinking possibly a wastegate actuator rod popped.  Very possible the wastegate itself blew, as the seals/springs can break.

BUT first check the hoses atop the engine under the engine cover.  They have been known to come loose as they are not secured from the factory.

You have the EPP hard pipes or factory hot pipes?  Just wondering how a Tial got on there :)

Here are the pictures of my engine bay. Should I remove the engine cover?

I do but I haven't installed it yet. It's a UPR that is powdercoated to match the pipes.

Check the wastegate hoses to make sure they are fully secured with a hose clamp.  Z
What did you use to cap off the intake ports? Front & Rear!
