Had to clean and detail the whole backseat area.

The wife and i went to a wedding last night. We ended up giving another couple a ride home because they where both tourqed. What they failed to do was clean themselves off before we left. They where in the woods bumpin uglies and where pretty filthy.
Lol,
well kinda lol, also kinda pissed about it.

And that my friends is how you get ticks in odd places....

Hope you wore gloves....

Lofl
Yeah, ticks are a major problem here too. A few ppl i know have lyme disease.  Luckily i didnt find anything that looked DNAish on the seats because i didnt wear gloves. Lol

These damn floor mats are a pita to clean. To clean them good anyways. That was 1/2 the time spent. No big deal tho, i rarely even have one passenger in the SHO let alone three.

E85 near me. I did not test this. A member of a local Car Facebook page does this every week.

Leesport, Pa. Just north of Reading Pa.

Our Sunoco Ultra 93 is pretty good too.

Never used one of those... is that saying the E content is just over 90?!

I have two gas stations that are “close” by with Ethanol... if I had to daily the SHO I wouldn’t be able to really enjoy an E30 tune lol.

Yes over 90. Basic tester. Its at least E85 or right at E85 thats for sure.

Cleaned sunscreen off the passenger seat.  (It's a pain to get out) The wife coated her back and arms then got in the car.  If she does that ever again I'm stuffing her in the trunk.

Don't focus to much on the HP.. HP is  a math formula that is estimated.  since we start loosing tons of breathing room after 5800 rpm our ''hp numbers'' don't look all that great.  But in reality the TQ gains across the spectrum is where we make our massive gains in speed and power.

case in point,  before tuning you'd be 270-300 WTQ around 3000 rpm ... now your pushing a few degrees of timing under 500.. that's a MASSIVE gain, if accurate you are making more wheel power than me, so you should run 12.4-ish in the 1/4  .. makes me really hate my state that hates self pumping and e85 ... stupid F#$%^ing oregon ..

OK: Check with your Local Tracks

So i bought a SEALED 55 Gal Drum of E85 from my Local 1/8 Mile Track,
175.00 Plus 25 Deposit, a test Kit, a Hand pump and a Graduated 5 Gal Gas Can,
SO ALL in about 300.00, AND it measures 85 on the Nose,
Very few E85 Pumps in Columbus, and if u find em, they DO NOT MEASURE UP, SO
8 Gals of 93 "Sunoco" and 3 Gal of E85 = E30, 97 Octane,
and no more than 3.30 A Gallon out the Door...
Still about 30 Gals E85 Left

TEST AND TUNE TONIGHT, FINALLY, loaded the Car, Pumped the gas,
Drinking the Large Coffee, Waiting to hit the road in one hour YAAAAAA :beer2:

Officially ordered the upgraded HPFP from LMS. Should ship out today. If not, for sure tomorrow. Per D. Millen, my setup necessitates I only need the lower, 40% version. So thus what I ordered.

Back from the Drag Strip, I Can not get this thing out of the 12.6's
SO Track Control OFF, Launch @ 2300, Front Tire Pressure @ 25 PSI
Spinning Like NO Tomorrow, DA Sucked, 12.627 @ 104.67 First and Best
Corrected 12.543 @ 105.374... Need to address the Heat Issue and pop
for the Cool Bags & 12 VDC Aux Fan (for Top of the intake)
I AM Still Dreaming about 12.4's

If you're spinning may want to get drag radials for the front.

BPD, any chance I (we) could talk you into an Install Write UP...?
Thanks in Advance (if So)

Possibly. Sure.

But it wouldn't be considered "official". LOL.

From what I understand the install is fairly straightforward to be quite honest.

The real issue is (& I am still trying to iron this out) is whether or not LMS would build/configure/send a remote tune file for those who include it on their applications (like me).

Their website says they do, but I've also heard differently.

My intended goal is to drive it out to their facility (for yet another) dyno session to properly dial it all in once again. Maybe in September, or at the latest, October (weather permitting) pursuant their availability of course.

But I know several who are waiting in the proverbial wings so to speak, to find out this answer. So I'll keep people updated accordingly.

In the interim, I'll be in a self imposed holding pattern (to install) until I confirm.

I already created a write up for the install of the firestorm pump.  Should be in the how to section..

Delta post with specifics for the LMS HPFP:

The 2013+ cars do not have a schrader valve like the 2010-2012... so the best thing to do is to disconnect the battery, let it sit for awhile, and then disconnect the low pressure fuel line on the pump... you will still get some fuel coming out so make sure to have a diaper there instead.... otherwise the installation is the same.
