What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

Good Morning.  I have a P0151 code that states the Bank 2 O2 sensor is most likely the culprit.  Can someone tell me where that is?

Put the sho back to stock today. Only thing left is downpipes tune and 3 bar map. I’ll get those tomorrow. Up next is putting my dad’s Ecoboost mustang back to stock. Pretty fun considering it’s 97 here today. I’m driving a 2017 edge sport tomorrow with my wife. I already drove it if she likes it I’m trading the sho in on it. I’ll drive it a year and give it to her. Then trade her car in next spring for what I want. I’m thinking the edge will be perfect with the baby due is 7 weeks. My dad is trading his stang in for a 2019 edge st we both drove a couple days ago. I’d post pictures but it refuses to work for some reason.

You planning on selling the dp's by chance? Also, that Edge is damn clean!

I guess the easy answer is maybe. I’m not sure what I’m going to buy next yet. So if they are going to fit I’m keeping if not they are being sold.

In reference to Code P0151 Front primary 02 sensor is located on the (passenger side) DP IIRC which is Bank 2!
Need to remove the Front passenger wheel and liner in order to gain access and should replace them in (sets) since they are indeed wide-bands which play a crucial role in controlling your AFR! Best of luck and keep us updated. Z

Now I'm confused.  I see the one in front behind the radiator.  Is that the other one of the 2 you are referring to?

Ouch, man be sure to drink a ton of water and chill out in the shade as you can.

Thanks buddy. Heat index was 108, even sally the wonder dog told me to go screw today. And she loves the garage lol. Pulling his methanol system was a real good time in this heat.

Best of luck with the new Edge! BTW Fixed the crooked PICS FOR YA!
If any member needs assistance with PICS shoot me a pm with the link and will get it up and running in no time. Z  :)

Thank you Z. I would be driving a brand new edge st now if the dealer had their stuff together. They couldn’t find the car on the lot. What an S show to say the least. Did see my first explorer st though. Very nice looking truck. But 60k is insanity.

IDK.  The aesthetics on the Explorer leave me wanting ... The previous gen was very good looking in comparison.

The front end is funky for sure. I will say it’s the best looking of the new explorers. The non st’s front end looks really weird to me.

Been thinking more and more about doing dual into single exhaust (2.5" dual from dps to single 3.5") and swapping on like the rear plastic of an SE or something along those lines. I figure it would perform the same as a true dual, weigh less and get rid of some unnecessary complexity. Would probably sound pretty decent too even though I already have an X pipe something about all of the resonance going through a single pipe is pretty appealing considering how chewbacca these cars sound with catless downpipes.

Basically under the assumption I am going to keep this car for quite some time now that I have really settled into the idea of it and how much effort I've put into it. Anybody have thoughts on this?

I think done right it will be just as nice as if it was made that way.  I have always liked the way a dual exhaust looks.  I've had single exhausts made into a dual just for looks.  Like I said, done right and with the SE trim it will look just as nice as anything else and sound cool.  I'd like to hear it.  I believe someone has done this before and had a straight piped sticking out like a foot...i don't like that look lol

I already down badge pretty hard with the SEL badges. Just kind of itching on mods. Might refine the idea more and do it after I save up for upgraded turbos.

Replaced one of the front outer tie rods, it was easier than I thought it would be.
Locking nut is seized, had to work around that. Thread on steering arm has lots of corrosion, next step is to remove the tie rod and run a rethreading die on it.
