What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

helps to take the weatherstripping off at the firewall. and to pop the hood when the run is over and you are cruising back to the line.

This.  Been doing it for every performance car for years.
for the SHO also drop to manual and drive the return lane in 2nd to increase rpm and air flow through the throttle and cooler water.

Funny you mention lighter battery the OEM replacement one kicked the bucket on me couple months back. Replaced with a lightweight Braille battery. Saved twenty lbs that way. I've thought about weighing stuff but honestly just get into the zone on getting everything out. Can have it done in a couple hours tops now.

I'm 30 miles away.  Stopping to get a few gallons and reload my 19 psi tune.

I'm not going maximum effort Jordan first I got to see what she can even do first.  I did bring my ratchet in case I get impatient.  Lol!

Hopefully Tim will let me put my luggage in his Edge ...staying overnight at my cousins.  Got my 14 year old son with me too.

I bought a camcorder...not the best.  I'm going to let my car cool for a little and test it out...or it will just be some cell phone video.  Tim's video guy Martin is not here tonight.

I should at least beat my last known full weight time of 12.06 for crying out loud lmfao!

DA is 1800 ft right now.  It'll drop a little later on

You got it! If you could pick up an ice bag for the intake manifold when cooling down I'd do that too! Best of luck!!

Da is down to 1200 feet here tonight. The edge is slow stock. That is all I have for now

How slow is slow ?

I’ll start it off by saying it was a poop show of a night at the track. Oil down after oil down it was insane. My plan was to run a couple stock passes then swap in an unleashed 93 tune and run that. Usually I can get 4/5 passes in if I show up early in the first hour. Not tonight it was terrible. So I got 3 passes in total in tonight. I left the time slips out in the car so I’m going off memory.

First pass totally stock with k&n drop in. Brake boosted to about 1800. It cherped the front tires then traction control like bogged it down almost. Even with it turned off.
14.29 @ 95.xx

Seeing it was going to be a slow night I swapped in the 93 tune. Brake boosted at like 2500 and Holy poop did it wake the truck/car/suv thing up. Spun hard and wheel hopped bad. seeing visions of an sho broken rearend in my head I decided to left off. I got back in it to datalog the 93 tune.
15.38 @ 92.xx

Got right back into staging lanes being it was now 9:45 they close at 10. So the truck was a little heat soaked IAT’s in low 140’s. I wanted to at least get a pass with the tune. I dropped front tire pressure down to 28. I brake boosted to 1500 to make sure it wouldn’t hop. Came out a little sluggish but pulled pretty decent up top.
14.11 @ 97.xx

I think once I play with it, it will run 13.7 or so on 93. Plus I also have brad working his magic very soon. All in all I’m pretty impressed for what it is. It feels exactly like a less powerful sho. I also had some extra weight as I was carrying 802sho and sons luggage for him. Lol. I’ll let Andrew post his updates. It was great seeing you tonight Andrew and meeting your son he’s a good kid. It was a slow shitty night for sure. But you got off to what I think is a great start.

2 runs in that's it.  11.899@119.15.    1.77 60ft.  Didn't ice it just let it sit.  First run totally screwed it up 12.060@118.66 2.04 60ft

ShoNoff, you need to get your suspension and tires "fixed" then you can put down some serious & consistent times.

802sho what was the DA? Nice run and on the 60 too!

The DA was about 1200 when Tim and I got in line together...where we sat for a while.  Sucks I only got two runs in.  I checked the DA after I went the last time and it read about 800ft.

When I got to the track I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy pants lmfao!!!  I forgot to bring some.  Now I'll fold the pair I bought and store them with my helmet.

Didn't do anything special just ran the car.  Dropped the psi in front tires to about 28psi and let her rip.

I opened my big mouth and said I better best my previous full weight of 12.06....and first time I ran a 12.060....got mad and hot lapped it...not much choice either as they were closing.  Then I stayed at the start brake boosting longer and got the 11.  First time an 11 full weight plus my glass cleaner and spray detailer and bottled water.

The wheel spacers I'm not sure made a difference...i like the look though so I'll keep them
