What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

P0303, SP-534 gapped to .028
It happened, blinked and went away.

cleared it and ripped it home and didn't come back.
happened after decel(maybe, wasn't really paying attention to the dash) from a pull from like 20-130 as soon as I lifted, might be an injector.
 
This is similar to my current ongoing issue.
Also on a remaned long block.

What injectors are in there.. curious if there the same as mine.

not sure honestly lol, haven't taken a look.

is yours misfiring consistently, or just every once in awhile?
 
mine is reproducible at will.

drop to manual mode go into 2nd gear.  drive at 3200 rpm .. in 30 seconds i feel it misfiring and the cel pops.  stop the car,  cel stops after the cylinder dries out in like 15 seconds.

im 99% sure it is the plug gap.. the frustrating thing is BEFORE the remanned block these plugs were fine. So i think the issue is the injectors somehow have a different spray pattern or flow and wet the plug in one cylinder.

have you tried techron or amsoil PI or anything similar, it wont fix a borked injector but can change the spray pattern if theres something blocking it

I'll try 2nd gear at 3200rpm tomorrow morning and see what happens.
in before same issue lol, also your reman didn't come with new plugs?
 
I did switch oils with no effect.  I don't think the injector has a blockage,  but i do think the injector is wetting the plug under low load, sustained high rpms in the 3000's.  I don't think the injector is bad either as the AFR and STFT look great .. it is just flowing different somehow. 

i have not tried nay higher rpms .. i seemed to dangerous on my block with only 3500 miles on it.

I ripped mine after like 250 miles lol, stuck er on the dyno.
brad said stick amsoil in it and just send it, so thats what I did.
 
Filled up my 5lb bottle of Nitrous yesterday.  Got the go ahead from Brad this am to datalog a 15 shot on my current 19 psi tune.  From the wise words of SBS, since I'm already spraying " a metric $#it ton" of methonal, the meth should handle that 15 shot no problem.  This will probably be my engines new favorite snack

Datalogs this weekend and performance test for comparison pre and post Zex 15 shot of nitrous.

P.S.  also detailing the car but everyone should be doing that lol

Lol if it were that easy to take them out id let you borrow them!  We both need to build our motors at least a little.  Can't even turn them up all the way.

Haha I filled up the bottle yesterday and the guy asked what's this going in?  I said my SHO..(he knows me)  oh you still have it?  Yeah.  I said I'll just run a 15 shot to cool the IAT down....at least that's how it starts...he goes...yup! 

It comes with 5 jets.  One for a 15,20,25,30 and 35 shot.  I mean...if it eats the 15 shot and i get good data..might try a 20 shot...and if I get good data...etc
