What have you done to your Ecoboosted vehicle today?

Ordered a safety blow down kit for my Zex kit in the event the bottle becomes too hot and wants to go boom, it will vent outside the car.  Also ended up ordering the wrong size pressure guage for the bottle, sending that one back to Amazon.  Had Zex on the phone and ordered the proper gauge kit through them, the blow down kit and also a .32 het for a 50 dry shot.  I guess we'll see how we do.  Planning for the 21st weather permitting.

Congratulations, that is a milestone accomplishment!!!

I hope to have an updated meth tune for this weekend.  Towns list race is Saturday, I know what times I need to see, before I head to Cecil County in MD.

Spent an hour getting the car drag strip ready. Heading to the strip Sunday. It's a crappy strip though so I don't expect a whole lot. Going to try though. Only really have two or three passes planned so I can actually enjoy the event also. Trying to save myself for my full send moment later this month lol..

You saw my extra measures. Maybe that with some nitrous can provide some decent times lol...

Not that an 11.38 isn't more than decent!  Jeeesh

Car got unloaded, reweighed with less fuel, and parked back in the garage waiting for the next outing on the 27th. Yesterday was hot and the two hour ride home in the heat was killer lol.

I know it's not polite to ask what your girl weighs but what did that hog tip the scales at?

LOL I am very public about every aspect of my car, but I think the final weigh in I will keep to myself this time! Definitely under 4000lbs though!

Lol fair enough!

No kidding. My car weighs in at about 4280 ish with the entire interior in and low on fuel. Mine is extremely light compared to others with the upgraded sound system, sunroof, AC/massage seats etc etc

I thought maybe you didn't have a sunroof, no Sony 12 speaker system, nav and heavy all in one seats either?  I still have not weighed my girl.  But I have all that stuff so she must be up near 4400.  Man if these things were slightly smaller...do we need to fit a family of 6 dead bodies in the trunk?  Be cool if they were comparible to a mustang.  Aren't they about 38-3900?  But we usually destroy them...most of them anyway.

I like the upgraded stock speakers and the nav but I could do without the seats.  I know they weigh a ton.  The sunroof?  I rarely open it all the way up but I guess its nice to have.  I could live without it.  I've told you before I wouls totally rock something permenant WR but cleaned up and nice like this

Pulled the trigger and bought 4 18" interceptor rims including the center caps and lugnuts for $50 each. Paired them with Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV 235/60R18 winter tires for $179 each. Dealership thinks TPMS system won't work with the interceptor rims. We will see once I install them when it gets colder.

Hakka's Rip it up in the Winter

Take a small cylinder of PVC and put a valve stem on it, throw all the TPMS in there, seal it, pressurize it to 35 psi and throw it in the trunk with the spare.  Light gone...check tire pressure the old fashioned way.

I haven't dont this myself but I'm definitely going to in the near future.  My mechanic keeps telling me to do it so I might as well.  I hate those stupid things.  C'mon guys...we don't need a tire pressure monitor system...or even an oil life percentage really.  To be honest we never needed that crap...i think that stuff was invented for our feminen friends😁

Driving conditions and skills have deterioriated a lot overall since the first highways were laid down.  Unfortunately it is a vicious cycle.  The more our cars automatically do, the less we feel we are personally responsible for.  It is just an appliance.
